Thanks to everyone that joined me last night, it was great fun.

I am enjoying the event, now I just need to try the different roles for the casino part.

I will probably be running the event throughout the week, so let me know if you want to join me... I know lots of people are running it, so just throwing that out there.

I also created this thread in case anyone wanted to share something specific about the event.

It's not bad at all. Far more replayable, IMO, than the Halloween house and the various invasions we have off and on. The IO set looks pretty damn good, so there is even more incentive to run it on a bunch of characters.

I was worried the Heist roles wouldn't be obvious or too complicated, but they are certainly easy enough and obviously laid out for you. I haven't done hitter yet, but theif has the "avoid the lasers" part where you have to kind of pay attention at least.

For the arena, badges are straight forward if you make a conscious effort to get them. Only "tip" I would suggest for others is to use that temp power that pops up once or twice during the thing so you can keep that favor meter up and get to the last AV.

And yes, I'll be doing these as much as I can stand for the time being to hopefully get a full set or 5. Still not sure if they will be sellable or not.

From what I read they are supposed to be sellable and it's just a bug that they are not at the moment.

But who knows, maybe it's an intended bug... I will certainly have an effect on the pricing once it's fixed since I'm sure more people will be enticed to play the event than having to wait for the bug to be fixed and see the set in the market.

It has been confirmed though that not being able to convert them is WAI.

I thought it was a pretty fun event, they seemed to have really tried to make it different, and it wasn't very long. I think that set is going to end up being pretty pricey on the AH, its a shame its over before I could get a lot of it. The knockback to knockup converter is FANTASTIC for certain powers. Suddenly Bonfire is a good power.
I didn't understand what to do with all the roles in the heist, so I usually stuck to hacker since that was easy. I tried thief but couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do with the vent to get into the vault. I looked and looked and couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do, nor find something to click.

It was dependent on the Grifter in the group to get all the "key words" from talking to the main dude. If the Grifter knew what he was doing, he would have been done in literally 3 seconds. Anyway, once all 7 words were hit on, then the vault keypad would have glowed allowing the Thief to click on it to open the vault.

Little bit late, but now you know for next Summer?

Bonfire was ALWAYS a good power. It's just that it required you either lock your foes down to the ground with hold or immobilize powers, or catch them with it in a corner so they couldn't escape, if you wanted to use it to its full potential.

With the screw up with how they implemented the Overwhelmings and eventually allowed to be on the Auction house, people are screwing themselves over what they are paying for them. Well some people, I made a freaking KILLING on my buying power

Several instances of each type are listed. Some have some already for sale, others just bidding and even some blank. Without doing your homework, people are silly; I saw several instances of the proc going for anywhere from 10 to 150 mil between 3 - 4 different instances. There was ONE instance where the last 5 bids went from 250M to 1B and I just laughed.....then cried because I wasn't selling that particular proc listing.

Hope they can fix that, but don't have high hopes.

I only got two copies of the proc but the first of those was on a PB at the same time he leveled up to get Solar Flare.

As far as Bonfire there's also area of denial (presumably the reason the move was made) plus dropping it at a AV or GM's feet.
