Bot/poison help
Just telling it like I see it, but I don't see /Poison as being able to support 0/8. You can increase the first number, for mob level, but it's not an aoe debuff set, even with recent changes for aoe, and the single target heal isn't going to be strong enough to keep up with damage. Spamming Provoke won't be enough to hold enough mobs' attention to keep Bots safe from a large spawn.
The only aoe debuff Poison can consistently keep on a big spawn is the one you didn't take, Neurotoxic Breath.
I've never taken Intimidate, because I've found there to be a consensus among the players that have takent it - it's a cruddy power.
I do advise planning your build to the end state. This so you can have a better idea of what you need to meet build goals instead of just grabbing all the melee pool powers for kin combats. CJ + Weave + Maneuvers (replacing Stealth) + Scorpion Shield + Steadfast IO + ProtBot shield will take you to s/l soft-cap, no kin combat mules needed.
I'm not trying to be all Mr Bummer Summer, just trying to set expectations. You certainly can level this combo 1-50, it absolutely crushes EBs, so you can do any mission assigned. I happen to have leveled a bots/poison to 50. I just don't think it will meet the stated goal of soloing 0/8.
Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)
I took intimidate because I want to get the AOE fear, and it was that, or the ST taunt. will I at least be likely to be able to solo unlocking my alpha, or is poison gonna just be screwed.
You'll be perfectly fine with the alpha arc. Like I said before, bots/poison will pwn EBs, including Trapdoor. Once your build is mature enough, you can even up those to AVs.

Hey there. I play a Bots/Poison as a main and I'll be honest with you it's a tough set to love. I made this guy day one of CoV and I've gone back and forth over remaking him over the years. However it can be made to work, but you do have to consider that AoE is both the strong point of Bots and the weak point of /Poison. You can bump up the mob size by 1 or 2, but not much more than that. The splash debuff from Envenom and Weaken just isn't strong enough to keep you healthy.
I too went the tankermind route and I opted to take Provoke and went with Ice APP for Hoarfrost, Ice Armor, and Hibernate. The build I use has got 46.5% S/L defense (1% over I know) and with protector bot shields it's got 30% to positionals. I took Iceblast as a mule and when I feel like doing something besides Provoke. Hopefully you find this useful as a template for your own build.

Hiya ToxicEel - Seeing your build description, I wondered if it would be possible to softcap your character beyond S/E types. Looks like it might be! With the protector bot bubble, you can be softcapped to AoE and ranged. Still softcapped to S/L without any help. Almost doubled the recharge and keep the endurance return just about even.
Drawback - got rid of some of your +hit point bonuses and hibernate. But....since you are softcapped you should need hibernate less
Were you interested in implementing this build, you likely could fund by selling three of the four purples currently in the assault bot (assuming you have access to a number of converters, and two alignment merits for the LotG +recharge).
Anyways, just looked at it as a bit of fun. Not saying your build was messed up and wrong in any way. Rather, thanks for sharing. It gave me some ideas for my /poison!

Toxic Eel - Robot/Poison MM
I am leveling a bots/poison toon, and have come up with this so far. This is a solo build, and my team build has left me less than happy. I seem to tank well on 0/1 missions, and would like suggestions on making this a power solo build eventually. I see people posting about soloing 0/8 missions, and if possible I would like to do this, but the best build I can get will be the best build I can get. I plan on doing tips to get hero merits, and putting Kcombats in the melee slots, but if that is a bad idea I would like to know before hand. Also no enhancements in this as I just made it on my 2nd build slot, and tested it in a S/L damage mission I made in AE.
