Paragon Reward tokens

Hello there I haven't played in 4 years and I was thinking of coming back. I see they converted the veteran rewards into tokens now. I looked online and saw :

"Next to the Paragon Rewards there will be a vertical meter (it looks like a thermometer) with a large number of notches. There will be two types of notches small and large. Small notches simply award an existing Veteran Reward badge, while Large notches symbolize unlocking a new set of permissions and a Veteran badge. These badges are given out in the order in which they were intended to be distributed originally plus 1 additional new badge at the bottom. Each time the player acquires a Paragon Reward Token, the user's Reward Meter will move up a single notch. "

I don't know if I am blind but I have not seeing a paragon rewards section on the login page or any type of notch or number. I know I have 15 months paid but I am I supposed to do anything or is everything already given to me? I am kind of confused of these tokens and I thought someone said before there was some type of specific marketplace to use these tokens. I see the regular marketplace but I don't think there is anything there for reward tokens.

On the character selection screen look at the upper-left corner of the screen. There is some text telling you how many character slots you have. Now look a little bit to the right of that. There is a button with three stars on it. Clicking that will take you to the Paragon Rewards screen.

This will show you what rewards you've already accquired and allow you to spend any unspent tokens. You should have 8 tokens (I think) but some of them will have already been spent to ensure that you don't lose anything you earned under the old Veterna Rewards program.

I have been unable to figure out the rules for when these show up. I found a thread claiming it was every month on your billing date, but it's not; I have two accounts, and they get their monthly points on different days but both get their token on the same day.

The dispersal of points, tokens and transfers is wonky to say the least.

Points generally arrive on or slightly before the billing date, tokens usually after toward the end of the month, and I haven't paid attention to the transfers in a while.

I believe Zwill has a post breaking it down, or is that the one you are referring to?

Paragon Rewards

How to get to the Paragon Rewards Screen

  1. Log into the game.
  2. Pick a server
  3. At the top of the screen you'll see a bunch of "medallions" for various things (number of characters unlocked, etc). The second from the left are your Paragon Reward tokens. Looks just like this:
  4. Click on the medallion and you'll be taken to the Paragon Rewards screen.
Now, I believe, if you had below 15-18 or something like that, from before the start of CoH Freedom, they would auto-allocate for you the first time.

Points over and above that, or acquired after the advent of CoH Freedom, would need to be placed manually, by the player.

You can take them in any order on a given tier. But you can't take rewards from a tier until the one below it is completely full.

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

Intent :
Transfer Tokens on the first of the calendar month, no matter when your billing date is.

Paragon Points : On your billing date. If no points within 24 hours of said date, contact support. Handed out per-month on multi-month subs.

Rewards Tokens : this is wonky due to the transition for most folks. Should be at the end of the billing month, but can come sooner. Especially with bonus time accounted for. Handed out monthly even for multi month subs.

Billing date refers to te day of the month you are billed, or would be billed if a multi-month sub.
