Why is there no cold or Ice APP for Defenders/Corruptors

Im just wonderng why after all this time in game that this doesnt exist ?? It makes no sense at all to me why they have never made this available to players...

The hard things I can do--- The impossible just take a little bit longer.

If numbers are so much more important than a teammate who is fun to play with, forget about the game altogether and go play with a calculator instead. -Claws and Effect-

For the same reason that Blasters don't have a Dark APP, and Controller, Scrappers and Tankers don't have an Electrical APP. Expanding the number of Epic pools available has always been pretty low on the devs list. Scrappers get Blaze Mastery in I16 (to finally give them parity with other ATs) and Blasters got Electrical Mastery in I5 but I think that's it (I'm not counting the I18 proliferation since that was just swapping existing sets rather than new sets and I have some... disagreements... with how it was done).

Yeah, never expect them to proliferate APP soon after new Primaries/Secondaries are added. I wish they would, and I'm sure if they had infinite time and resources, they would.

Standard Code Rant aside, it seems like a relatively easy task.

Emphasis on "seems" and "relatively" and "Standard Code Rant", of course, but the general AP framework is there, and the powers and animations already exist (since they're all just ports of already-existing powers), so that's a major part of the job done already.

As I've said before, having all elemental options available for all ATs would be great.

This would solve the lack of a defense based shield for Defenders/Corruptors in the APP. As it currently stands... Defenders and Corruptors are the only ATs which have no access to a DEF shield in the APP.

I would settle for the ice shields, but actually would prefer new APPs be introduced for all ATs.

There was a lengthy discussion regarding this about a month ago or so on the boards... I will try and look for the link later and post it here.
