Paragon Market Refund?

So long story short, I was able to buy costumes pieces that I had already "owned." Has anyone else had this issue and were you refunded points even though there is a "all sales are final." message appears?

I sent in a petition and see what happens. I was just curious.



Semi-long story: I noticed a bundle called Origina Capes, and of course the PM doesnt give a clear description, the names of the costume pieces itself, or previews until AFTER you made the purchase. It was then that I noticed that I already owned these pieces. Why wouldnt the system know I had these and prevented me from purchasing them? This happened once before with a power set I owned, but couldnt access on the character creation screen. When i went to the PM and tried to purchase it wouldnt let me because I already owned the power set. Once I quit the game and relogged it appeared.

Ugh...

That sucks, I've never had this happen to me, but you should get a refund. They should put a text box on an item saying that you own it or something like that. Or when you go to buy something the same text should come up if you already own it.

It's a matter of item-flagging (or lack thereof) between items that have been made individually available after they were released as part of an earlier, pre-market booster.

Just a related advisory; as I understand it, the market is designed and maintained by a third-party developer, not Paragon or NCSoft. This is making it challenging for Paragon to get anything done about this or other market issues. Hopefully however, they will find a way to refund your misspent points.

It's cool that they show the PM in their demo, but hopefully the OP's issue gets resolved quickly.

Thanks for the info all, and support

I got an email about 10 minutes after my petition from a CSR and it's being "escalated" and should hear something within 24 hours.

I'll keep you posted!

I woke up this morning to find my points have been refunded after confirming I had already purchased these items before.

Woot!

Lesson Learned on my part - next time if I cant remember if I bought an item, ill just preview it on Paragon Wiki
