Happened on two characters. The one on the left here purchased a bunch before it just up and quit letting me buy them.

Oh for crapping out loud. I log into a different character to claim some instead and it won't even let me. Did you guys run out or something?

Restarting the client seems to have convinced it to stop being stupid, so at least there's a workaround.

EDIT:
Except now they cost 250,000 Inf? Whaaaat?

They have always cost 250k each.

The bug was when it was attempting to give you an inexplicable 25% discount.

Could that be triggering Marty? Accruing so many at a 'discount' you're not supposed to have.

I've had it happen to though. Luckily I was pretty much done, but I've purchased converters via merit vendors and suddenly been locked out

I was crafting on a different character and used the discount coupons from the Day Job. That particular check box stays on as long as the client is open.

Aaaaand, I probably ran out of discount coupons on the characters in these screenshots.

I think you have discovered both the bug and an exploit!

Yah, they finally fixed that bug. The discount should be applying correctly

Has there been a sale on them which has ended since the OP started the game client.
In which case the market UI might still show the discounted price but you wouldn't be able to purchase any because those items were no longer available. This would imply that discounted items are actually applied as a seperate item in the DB to full price items - I'm not sure if that is the mechanism used though.

Nice that they fixed it, but did I miss the announcement? I always try to read the patch notes for stuff like that.

I haven't seen one either but it's good to know in case I never need to earn some inf doing some crafting. Thanks Agent White.

I discovered this myself a month(? who even knows anymore) ago, posted about it, reported it.
