Hybrid Slot
I thought it was Core that had the energy damage. I remember Radial as the one with the extra damage. Think if I'm not going with Assault, might go for Melee for some more defense and tank a bit more.
But for now, settled on Assault Radial.
I picked melee (currently have "Melee Core Embodiment" slotted) and found out the hard way that it breaks hide when active and in range of an enemy. Which makes it less than useful for a stalker.
I'm guessing that because the powers effects are increased by the number of targets around is the reason. So now I'm trying to get incarnate components for T4 assault. Hopefully that won't break hide.

Actually breaking hide, as in removing the Hidden tag, or does it attract agro while leaving you the option of a hidden crit?

If it simply attracts agro then that can work, but if it precludes the use of a Placate/strike or taking advantage of the ATO proc then that's a different story.

Can anyone confirm/deny/clarify this?

*edit*
Some days you have to do everything yourself... or with the help of a friend (thanks, Empress Chi). The effects of Melee's taunt aura actively and immediately break Hide.
I'm a bit annoyed by this and would like it very much if they adjusted it to act like other auras when used by Stalkers (or simply allow it to attract aggro when hidden but not actively break hide, which would be my preference), but I can't imagine this would be a high priority for the Dev team.
Alas.

I figured I'd go with Assault and crafted both Core and Radial T3s to test a bit before I deciding which T4 to make.
So far, the only effect I've seen from Radial is that the second half of my non-hide AS is energy damage rather than smashing.
Is it just me, or do these new features not play nice with criticals?
