Game Changes

There are several changes to CoH reciently, and I don't remember reading anything about them. Maybe someone can help me with them.

  1. Dark Astoria is gone. My beacon now leads to Echo: Dark Astoria. I know what happened to Galaxy City. What is the story line with Dark Astoria?
  2. I can now create a "Hacked Teleporter" in my base. What is the difference between a normal and a hacked teleporter?

Both are new with Issue 22, I think, so they've been out for a few months now.

  1. The death god, Mot, finally broke loose in DA and things have gone from bad, past worse, into HOLY ******* **** BATMAN! All the solo/small team Incarnate content is in there now. And the portal zone by the hospital seems to be the new cool place to hold Incarnate trial assembly.
  2. The Hacked telepads and their mystic counterparts cost the same to craft, but they cost more prestige to place. HOWEVER, they can mount up to six (6) beacons instead of two. Hero side can neatly be covered in 4 telepads, and with a large enough transport room, you can fit your raid telepad in there too. No more multiple rooms needed.

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

The new dark astoria has its own exploration badges and TP beacon.
