Panther Stealth

Has anyone bought and tried the new Panther Stealth that just came out on the Paragon Market? If so, how is it for a travel power? Does it allow you to jump or anything or is it just purely stealth? I was thinking of putting it on my Claws/Ninjitsu stalker for concept purposes.

If you want to avoid a certain person's intent to argue in almost every post:

It's like the Coyote travel power in that it changes your form, into a panther (surprise, I know.) +Speed (IIRC) +Jump, and a toggleable stealth.

If you run your Claws/Nin Stalker (happen to have that as well,) you're not going to be attacking with it. It has 40ft of stealth - fine for most PVE purposes, stuff that'll see you will tend to ignore stealth anyway, but it won't stack with Hide.

You can't attack from it. You will need to retoggle after using it.

So, if you don't mind the form shift and retoggle for the sake of concept, grab it. If you're looking for Ninja Run +Stealth, this isn't it.

Bill nailed most of the major points of panther stealth. It's like many of the new "travel power alternatives" that have been popping up on the market as of late. I actually got it cuz it sounded pretty cool (i know...i'm such a sucker).

It has the same run speed as coyote run...~58 mph on the toons i messed with it on...but doesn't jump quite as high. Jump is something like 22 ft high...which isn't bad...but gets whomped big time by ninja run, beast run, and even coyote run. All of those are like 40+ feet vertical.

I would say it'd be best used on a toon that doesn't have some kind of stealth already (either by power selection or IO) that you don't plan on running a half a gajillion toggles on...or a concept toon. I've got a grav/nrg dommy who's second costume happened to be a were-panther....ish....deal. So...yeah. Kinda worked out for me (just a bit too bad that i'd already picked up invisiblity with him for LotG recharge mule).

Edit: Oh yeah...one other minor detail. When you toggle on panther stealth, the stealth itself isn't baked in. It pops up another power tray with the actual stealth toggle in it. I was such an idiot, that if not for the fact that the forums got temporarily borked and i couldn't log in...i woulda bugged the blasted thing cuz I'd totally missed the tray pop up on my screen the first couple times. DERP!

I didn't think that was argumentative, so I'm hoping you didn't mean me.
