Super Leader and the Red Star ...Again

if you change sides completely like hero to villain then you will have to pass on the red star otherwise it will go to someone randomly
its really not a big deal if its a 1 person sg then it will always go to another of your toons, if it is not a 1 person sg just have a trusted friend take the star then promote another of your toons to the red star position so you still have the power (your side switching toon will stay in the sg when they switch but they wont have access to the base)
thats essentially what i did, i just promoted another of my toons to super leader with the help of a friend cause my main needs to constantly side switch to get badges
Thanks, Necro. I just was not sure if the process got simplified. That's what i will end up doing. Mostly my OCD kicks in because my Main should be the SG leader! I'll just have her promoted again when she gets back from her walkabout.

It goes to the character that logged in most recently of the next rank down. BUT...if another character of the same rank logs in before that character logs in again, it switches to them automatically.

I would just promote another one of your characters within the SG to super leader prior to side switching, do what you have to do, switch back and re-promote yourself.
It's probably the simplest solution.

So... your best bet is to "assign" the star.
a) after Superleader leaves, immediately log in your desired new leader (of the next rank down). Works fine for "solo" or very small SGs
b) dual box it... login on your Leader on one account, and an alt on a second account. Pass the star manually between the toons.
c) give the star to someone you trust to give it back....

There are many many questions and this has been answered many many times.. how ever form what i dug up they were all from two years and four issues ago. So since i only started in November here it goes...
Are the Rules still the same for a side switching Super Leader? That is to say you loose your red star another person within your SG gets promoted based on confusing criteria i have yet to even begin to understand? Or has this process been simplified in some way?
I am really weighing the options of how much of a pain it is compared to how much i hate Ice armor. Plus scorpion armor is less graphically intensive for me.
