AlienFX Light Control?
Is it enabled on the computer? I think it puts an icon in the System Tray. Right-click it and make sure it is set to Enabled.
If it isn't enabled on the computer, the game won't see it and will show the N/A.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
IIRC that feature relates to backlit keyboard and the ability to set the color. The feature in this game will change the backlight to blue when playing a hero, red for a villain and I think gold for a Praetorian.
Truly an important and often asked for feature that makes this game. [/sarcasm]
Edit: OK, so I was wrong. It's still silly.

Paragon Studios and Alienware have brought increased functionality to Alienware systems with AlienFX lights and Alienware Command Center enabled. Health Low – When a character’s health is low, system lights will go black and will then quickly pulse red. Health Zero – When your character is defeated, system lights will go black and will then slowly pulse red. Mission Completion – Successfully completing a mission will trigger two green flashes. Level up – When gaining a level, a multi-colored strobing light effect will appear. Known Issue: The new AlienFX updates do not function correctly with Aurora and Aurora ALX desktop systems. Alienware is aware of this issue and will be releasing a driver that will correct this functionality. Dell and Paragon Studios will update Aurora desktop customers when the driver is available on the Dell/Alienware support site. |

Any idea exactly how to do this? I've been trying to figure out how and I'm having quite the time.
In the NCLauncher, right click CoH, select Properties. Put the flag in the extra command line box.

Hey folks!
So, here's my issue. Just bought a new Alienware Desktop (X51) and am trying to figure out how to turn on the AlienFX Light Control. Since I know the desktop is able to, I'm just wondering how to do it from the City of Heroes side. In the settings, though, the AlienFX is listen N/A. Any ideas why and how I can fix it?
