So.. BS or KM?
I have a kin/energy brute which is great. But Kinetic melee is better on scrappers and stalkers. Power Siphon is a power I hate. On brutes you cannot get it to instantly recharge with a critical. It is nice how it builds up the damage increase, but you have to hit to get the bonuses.
YMMV---IMO

KM stalkers are amazing, especially with the ATO, now that Stalkers got their major overhaul.

@Roderick
Well I don't have much of an issue with that, but now that a few days passed by, I'm considering either KM or SS for Regen. TW has been dropped from the race
I haven't played BS myself into high levels... does it provide any notable damage mitigation? Or is it all about heavy s/l damage? If it provides any mitigation, it might be the better choice to pair with /regen. KM is fun, I have a brute at 50 with it. I believe that brutes benefit the least from KM's benefits when compared to stalkers and scrappers.
Even though you have done it more than once, I still would suggest you pick up a bs/regen. If you are open to suggestion, may I suggest TW/regen?
Words to the wise aren't necessary- it's the stupid ones that need them.
"You're right...I forgot...being constantly at or the near the damage cap is a big turn off. Definitely not worth it."

BS has Parry/Divine Avalanche, so yeah, it gives really good mitigation.

So I've been making Brutes, Controllers, and Dominators back to back now for the past week and I finally settled down with an Elec/Kin Controller, but now I'm dealing with the Brute. I wanted to try something new, so in all my years of playing this game off and on (Since i5) I have yet to try Regen, so I say let's toss it on a Brute, since they are my current favorite AT.
So Regen is what my secondary will be, and I've always wanted to try KM since i have never played that as well. So I figured why not pair them together, but then memories from the past brought me to remember the all mighty BS that has came to the Brute side. BS is a wonderful set, but I have played it more than a few times so I'm kinda drifting away from it, yet playing it so many times has me knowing how well it could do.
So all in all I just want to play something that's new and fun and I don't know if I should play a Kinetic Melee/Regeneration or a Broadsword/Regeneration Brute, never played with Regen, but used BS many times.
