See subject. Thanks in advance for any responses.

The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.

Sure doesn't. The only ice power that has that option is Hide. Your only recourse is dark colored ice which may or may not be minimal enough for your tastes. I just realized you may mean the graphics option rather than the power customization option, but same answer. It isn't a particle effect so it won't be disabled.

Thank you. You were correct, I was wondering about the power customization. Shame. I love the set-up of this set, but can't stand the look.

You can actually hide the effects of ALL armors and buffs using the following macro.

/macro FXoff "SuppressCloseFx 1$$SuppressCloseFxDist 255"

A button will appear in your powertray click it and voila no horrible ice armor . Just checked this myself with a new toon.

Works for fire and a variety of other powersets. It even suppresses the little buff icons from leadership. Only glow I get on my toons now is the one from secondary mutation.

To turn effects back on.

/macro FXon "SuppressCloseFx 0"

Hope this helps.

Just color the ice via custom colors (the whole set) dark purple / dark purple. You barely see the armor at all.

I GOING TO SAY THIS AGAIN because I keep seeing people ask about this: select custom colors for the whole Ice Armor set, and go dark purple / dark purple.

No problem. Not many people know this macro exists. Myself included until a few months ago.

Have Fun
