Let me tell you, Sai is AMAZING for coloring. It's got fantastic brush settings that make good lighting super easy.

Brush resizing works that way in Photoshop too... my favorite features of Sai are a) its Water brush, which is unlike any Photoshop tool; and b) the Deep and Vivid paintbrush blending modes, which are what make the lighting so easy to do.
