Tech Issues...?
Seems to be two issues here: Your install of the game, and your account status.
Since you already had CoH, you didn't need to install anything else. Have you run the NCSoft Launcher and updated the install of CoH? A while back, they moved the server's addresses, which, IIRC, would be a possible cause of that. Alternatively, do you run any firewalling/AV software? That could be blocking it.
For your account status, what did you do with the code that came in the box? Did you log into the NCSoft Master Account page, and apply it to your existing account? You do not want to create a new accont using it!

NC Launcher is not blocked by the firewall; I manually set that one up.
As per the code, when I initially put in the code it did nothing. So I went about making a new account, which I can't do anything with. So I guess that one was on me. Crap.
But I can't even log in on my other accounts (I had two prior to today), so I'm kinda stymied.
It's no LIVE help. Using submit a question at the support site will get you some help.
Also, in the development section of forums located above this one, is ahte ALL Access : game play and tech issues - try posting this (or linking to it) there. The tech issues helpy people tend to hang out there.

iirc the launcher included with the GR edition used the old CoHLauncher which will no longer work.
You may need to download the current launcher from NCSoft - there will be a link on the support site and on your account page and will need to patch the game back to the current version.

I did the same thing, although my results were different (crashes, etc).
I had to uninstall everything and then download the client from the CoH website and reinstall.
All you need to do is apply your Going Rogue serial code under your NCSoft account.

One more simple thing to check. When you update, any firewall you're using sees CoX as a changed program, so when you go to log in, many firewalls will pop up a box asking you to approve the change. This should happen when you attempt to log into the server selection process. If you're running CoX full-screen, the dialog box will be hidden. I had this happen and it really stymied me the first time, until I happened to CTL-ALT-DEL to get 'unstuck' and when I switched to task manager I saw the dialog box patiently waiting for me to click it. Now I know what it wants and I barely even think about it.

I installed Going Rogue onto the PC today (FYI, I have been playing on a Freedom Account for a while now), and the Sign In page locks up for a few seconds and says to check my firewall and server status. So I do, and I am without access to the game after a few hours of digging around. Everything I find on a search here or the support pages clearly says that there's no help since I'm not a VIP player, despite a serial code.
Help?
