Buy a new HD, keep your old one handy....Install windows (don't activate it) and install CoH. Do you still get errors?

Try that.

I see you on Triumph Watch once in awhile, so you getting on with a different rig?
when you happen to see me in game, it's the rare time when it stay running for more than 10 minutes.

Somewhat of a shooting in the dark question: are you running an Aero desktop on Windows 7? Have you tried switching to a non-Aero interface if you are?

I have been using Aero and no, I've never thought of switching. I'll do that now.

I wish I could say that I found a different solution than this one but I bit the bullet and bought a new card.

I wasn't looking for a huge performance boost or too spend a fistful of cash so I picked up a GTX 550 Ti for 130 from newegg. I redid the now familiar driver clean, installed the new card and for the last 2 days I've been playing without a crash (knock on wood). I've put in about 6 hours of time and it's been flawless.

I wish I could have fixed it but I'm just going to chalk it up to a bad card and enjoy. I wish I wouldn't have wasted a year putting up with that behavior though...

Ouch!
That is never fun.

I'm stuck in a similar situation with how the game interacts with my slow internet right now.
I can't afford to get better internet(which would likely have an insanely low monthly data cap, that can be hit in a few days of playing this game probably if my own internet bandwidth bottle-necking the game is anything to go by, as the stupid providers are doing now) if it is even available in the area.

I hate the greed of the people that make decisions in the world. (deleted my further rant)

I just want the simple things.

Cost or no cost, atleast you found some sort of resolution to the issue.
