Mission bugged: Deliver the Tabula Scutum to Ghost Widow in St. Martial

I did this mission on a level 35 Brute and Blaster team, and we got two level 40 Elite Bosses to fight, with about 15 minnions. Ghost Widow was there as an NPC to help, but also died quickly. Even resurrecting 3-4 times wasn't enough to kill the bosses and GW died as well.

According to Paragon Wiki this is a known bug since 2009. Apparently is has not been fixed in Issue 22.

Please fix.

Level 40? neat. I had the 2 EBs spawn on me at once solo on it last week, but they were only the +1 i was set for. Figured it was wai since she's there to help. Luckily it was on my /storm corruptor so hurricane made it doable.

Yeah, this was basically +5. Not fun, especially because afterwards:
1) Ghost Widow gets taken by Longbow (pretty significant NPC)
2) The mission giver goes: "I'm very disappointed in you and will not give more missions."

Not sure what either of them means in the long term for my character.

What chance do you really think that LB can hold her for any length of time?
I've had some who have failed this in the past and she was available to pick as a patron later - no need to worry about missing any other content because of this. The tech to allow this was introduced with GR much later.

Thats about the extent of it - doesn't affect anything beond the arc and even that can be redone in a flashback.
If you are quick you can exit mish and reset it between her dropping and the mish failing.

Mind of Gaia lvl 50 Defiant's first Mind/Storm 'troller.
Deadly Doc 50 Dark/Dark Corr

I'm a new player, so I don't know what's old or new, except obvious things like Praetoria and First Ward.

Yeah, I was inspecting the floor very closely when that happened. I had spent two Revive's a Bounce Back and an Awaken. My blaster friend had done 3 awaken's I think. Given that my Revive had already recharged, the fight must have taken more than 5 minutes. We even got pretty close, killed one boss and the other was down to ~30%.

We tried really hard, so we were very disappointed when it failed. We've had hard fights in the past, where we had to figure out a strategy and could abandon the mission and try it again, no such luck here. For example the mission in First Ward where you have to rescue Nadia after her building is ambushed by the Talons of Vengeance (Loose Ends Part 3). We had to do that a few times before we figured it out. It's unclear to me when you can and can't abandon a mission.

The patron arcs have also had an issue with the level of the enemies in the missions.
They just haven't fixed the enemies to work with the new level range you can fight them.

It's apparently a simple fix, if they sit down and do it.

She wouldn't give you another mission? That's odd. I had the same thing on my dominator, ganked by a huge mob and the EBs, but I was still able to do the finale mission for the arc afterward

If the mission doesn't say "complete" then you can't advance an arc. Some missions allow you to "die and fail" and thus advance(with the consequences of a different clue or circumstances in future missions), but most don't.

They probably have to win to advance.
