Ordered my first parts for my new build today Thanks All !!
I live on a budget and worked my computer into the budget. For somethings I can buy several pieces at once. Ive had to adjust my budget a little ( going with Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo instead of the H100 I wanted and going with a solid power suplly around 100 bucks instead of something around 150ish ).
But I did work in a SSD drive that will be around 90-120 gigs for Windows and my gaming stuff and frequently used programs.
But this will be much better than what I have and I will have room to grow.

Best way to do it is to plan out the entire build with all the specific parts you want, ensuring compatibility, and wait for sales and price drops(or better financial situation) if you must.
I'm just saying:
Do not buy any parts that will not all work together perfectly.
Also, buying piecemeal has one serious flaw....
If one part arrives worthless/broken(and has a short/no warranty), without being obvious, then you won't know until the return/exchange window is long gone when you finally put the computer together.
You're much better off calculating exactly the maximum amount of money you need and saving up to buy the stuff all at once.
That will give you plenty of time within the first 30 days normal return window to make sure it all works.

If you need to make sure you don't get tempted to spend it on something else then open a seperate bank account for it.
That way you earn some interest on the money
The prices of the components probably drop or you get something higher spec.
You don't have loads of bits and pieces lying aroung cluttering the place up when they can't do anything.
Unless of course you are planning on doing some extensive modding of the components you are ordering first in which case make sure you get the rest of the parts arriving close to when you are ready for them.
If you really want to go down the line of buying piecemeal then at least start with enough to get a working system up and running - even if that means you are canibalising an old system for some parts.
Mind of Gaia lvl 50 Defiant's first Mind/Storm 'troller.
Deadly Doc 50 Dark/Dark Corr
and lots more on Pinnacle,Union and Defiant
Thanks for the advice but I have to do it this way.. if I try and save the money it will get used for something else. That simply doesnt work for me. Ive already worked out the compatibility issues and its not like im building a very complex system and everyone here has already been a huge help with that.
Im not worried about the parts themselves.. Ive got faith its all going to work out fine !!

It's nothing about faith and compatability, it's about that oh not so rare chance of buying that part made on somebody's last day or that careless postal worker randomly tossing your box around and not noticing the issue until well After your return period. :-/
I appreciate and understand everyones concern but knowing my situation and how I have to do things this is the way it is going to get done.
SO again thanks to everyone who helped !!!

Sounds like you know exactly what you're doing.. Good for you, and screw the rest of these "suggestions" lol
Don't be a mindless farm toon, we may need you on a non-soft SF someday. =)
id like to say thanks to everyone who gave me advice on PC build stuff. Father Xmas, Hyperstrike, newchemicals, Ironblade and everyone who chimed in....
Case is on the way.. Looking at power supplies next paycheck !!!
