Electric Armor and Titan Weapons AT?

I like this combo, but can't decide what AT to do.
I have a few questions, but I'm looking for any suggestions or insights.

How does the tanker AoE taunt work with AoE powers? If I hit ten enemies with a tic of the electric damage toggle, does it taunt just those ten or do I hit those ten +AoE around each to potentially control a whole mob of enemies?

What are the resist and defense 'softcaps' for each AT?

TW/Elec performs extremely well on Brutes.

Defense Softcap for all ATs is 45%. The Incarnate softcap is 59%.

Resistance hardcap is 75% for scrappers and 90% for brutes and tankers.

I know for the sake of this thread, those are the only ATs that matter, but just a note that EAT have 85% res cap, brute/tank are 90%, and everything else is 75%.

Well I looked at the epic pools and even those are the same.
I like the energy pool, and all three have it lol.

What about the brute makes TW/Elec perform 'extremely' well? Is it just the damage aura feeding fury, or... ?

If you went TW/Elec on a scrapper you would only have 75% energy resistance instead of 90% and you would have no taunt aura (scrapper damage auras do not have taunt auras) meaning things would be running all over the place, and no aoe taunt either. TW works best when everything is neatly bunched up to maximize your aoes.

If you went TW/Elec on a brute you would have 90% energy resist, a taunt aura, aoe taunt, and deal pretty much the same amount of damage as a scrapper. Damage auras are also best on Brutes, which can mean alot for Titan Weapons, if you're left with 1 enemy with just a smidge of health left and you don't have momentum it can suck to have to finish that off with a long animating (usually high end) attack, Fury boosted Damage auras work very well to solve that issue.

If you went TW/Elec on a tank you would be in the same situation as a brute except dealing significantly less damage, with only slightly better non energy resists to show for it.

Brute it is.

Going to the store, will roll my brute upon return.
