How to tell if a hero can earn A-merits

So I have a couple of characters that are hero but I'm not sure if they ever ran a hero morality mission. Is there any way to tell if these characters are going to be able to earn an A-merit from running SSAs without having to actually run an SSA or run through 10 hero tips?

You can go to personal (character) Info from menu tab. Then go to the alignment tab and it gives stats about how many moralty and alignment missions you have run.

If its a character that has turned form one side to another, you may need to confirm alignment or some such, not sure excatly what requirements are needed.

For a character thats never changed alignment, I think they still need to do two morality missions - one ofr 50 merits and another to confirm and getting 1 AM.

Hope that helps anyhow.

edit: There is a hero/villain/etc-reinforcing morality stat - that's the one you need.

I still find difficult for side changers to tell

Thanks, that info is really going to help clear this up.

I think the sure way to know is if you have the Countdown to Call to Justice symbol in your active power display or if you have the Call to Justice power itself means you can earn A-merits. Frenzy symbol for villains.

Yes. That's probably easier.

However, keep in mind that if you got that power prior to the alignment "credit" reset that first came with the SSAs, you will have to reinforce anyway. So it's not a 100% sure way to do it unless it was obtained after SSAs came out.

This apparently isn't a universal thing. I have a couple characters that I confirmed the alignment of before the SSAs came out and I'm still able to get A-merits as rewards for the SSAs and trade normal merits for them in Fort Trident.

You have either bought Going Rogue expansion or have bought access to the alignment system.

Correct, it isn't a universal thing. I had only one character affected by this out of a number that could have been.

Actually, this is completely wrong.
You get the Countdown and then the power when you do a morality mission. If doing that morality mission CHANGED your alignment, making you a hero or villain, you are *NOT* eligible for A-Merits yet. If you changed alignment, you need to run ANOTHER set of 10 alignment missions and a morality mission. THEN you can earn A-Merits.

If you were ALWAYS a hero or villain, and did a morality mission to get that power, then you can earn A-Merits.
