Like it or not this HO is worth over 3-4 billion if not more/whatever I say it's worth until someone else with the same HO comes and offers it for less.

Seeings as 52 Cyto's are going for over a billion - 1.5bil each and being 1000:1 in comparison to the rarity of 53's, I'm comfy.

You now try and turn around, claiming that they are worth 3bill at least?

Let's do some math... 800+999= 1799mill or 1.79Bill.
That alone is little over 1.2Bill diff, but wait...
You are so greedy that for 3Bill you'll only give 1 Hami'o, because you want a total of about a 4bill profit while investing less than 2bill.
I'll write this down for you:
3Bill for two Hami'o's is 3Billx2=6Bill total.
Investment was 800Mill+999Mill=1.79Bill.
Total profit is 6Bill-1.97Bill=4.21Bill.

Yes, it's a large profit. Both in absolute terms, and relative to his investment.

Large profits are not illogical. The real logic fail is you baselessly assuming that the two times it has sold on Wentworth's are representative of its "true" value, whatever that means.
He can ask any price he wants. If it sells at that price, he was justified in asking it. If it doesn't, he wasn't, and he can try to sell lower, or decide to just keep it.
What is with you and attempting to be the price police in threads of this kind, anyway? Even aside from the logic of it, has it ever actually worked?

Funny that you missed a few things i said with your quotes.
He said he was the buyer of those two items, and the fact that he is now marking those items up by 300% is just very shady to me.
But hey, it's not like he hasn't done it in the past, say, with a level 50 Titan'O which was selling for less than 200mill and he claimed it was worth 1.5Bill.

I don't like it when people try to rip off others.

They are fixing Hami-O's so that things like the Defense Debuff ones will no long buff a player's defense if they slot it in a defensive power. At least that's my understanding.

Actually, I think you'll find it's only worth whatever you can actually sell it for. And if nobody buys it for what YOU feel it's worth, it's worthless, unless you plan on using it yourself.

I don't begrudge you your right to make a buck, and I hope you actually find a buyer who's desperate enough. I kinda don't see that happening though.

I see it as kinda shady. But not actually a ripoff. If someone was going to buy one at the 800-900M price, they'd have gotten one of them before him. Nobody did.

Even if that's the case, in terms of performance the price of a level 53 ought to be about the price of a 52+. So if I could buy a 52 for a billion and a 50 to combine with it for 300 million, I can't imagine paying more than 1.3 billion for a 53.

On the other hand, if you're hoping to capitalize on the OCD collector mentality, I refer you to the great amounts of hand-waving and angst-spewing that go along with a narrow set of reactions to the superpacks, wherein some posters have vocally criticized PS for "taking advantage of" people with specific forms of mental illness (in that case, gambling addiction). I don't happen to agree with that perspective, but it's out there.

This reminds me of a conversation I had with someone before costume codes started showing up on the market. The person was asking 2-3 billion inf (which some of them still sell for), and I politely declined because it just wasn't worth that to me (still not, but people can do with their fake money whatever they want). I then had it explained to me, despite my not asking, that multi-billion inf prices for them were fair and even cheap, because he had inside information from PS that when they eventually went up on the market they would be the most expensive things on there and be priced at some ridiculous amount (I seem to recall $20-30 equivalent being tossed around). Some people just sell "hard".

People can ask whatever they want for items. If someone's willing to pay their price, fine. The free market isn't about social approval, but it's also not something that should be expected to be free of social disapproval.
