Also there are other thread discussion on getting your first commission that have good advice on what to ask for and thoughts on having realistic expectations.
Beyond that just ask, there are lots of very experienced art collectors (and artists) here who would more than likely know the answers to any ? you have.

I think CR that your problem might lie in your audience. In 'general' you are the equivalent of crazy guy on the street promising the end of the world without possessing any meteorites. Like everyone else in 'general.' Whereas in 606 "where everybody knows your name" We will heed your promises of meteorites and run for them. Same as what you describe just replace meteorites with arts.

You do bring up an interesting point (and in a pretty ironic way considering how many doomsday prophecies

) and I know I dwell like 80% in the 606 and so am lesswell known outside of it but I think anyone who has an interest in art upon seeing any post
from me could click the button in my sig and see dozens of examples or click my statistics
and "find all threads by" to see plenty of art giveaway and birthday gift artz threads.

He really nailed the custom SG logo on her shield.

Shieldara looks absolutely delicious! I'd nom on her for sure!
The only thing i could possibly nitpick on, is her facial expression doesn't quite match the actiony pose. She looks more like a damsel in distress.
Careful, she noms back. Hmmm you make an interesting point.
The one thing I noticed is he gave her thin white eyebrows and they are in a
different shape than what I came up with. That is what looks amiss to
me but it could be that she is just too passive-looking for the attack
she is pulling off as well. One might be contributing to the other.
