Looking for suited server

I would like to know which server is most suitable for a Stalker.

Based on that thread by PsychicKitty I thought perhaps Guardian, but that thread is a few months old(well the part where she mentioned Guardian is), so that might not be the case now.

What do the Stalkers of the forum feel is the best server to play as a Stalker on based on their opinion?

I haven't found that much stalker hate on either freedom or virtue. However, I haven't played on freedom in awhile.

I dont see any hate for stalkers on Guardian server where i play most of the time....maybe its my time frame of play or whatever....on guardian most people are about playing the game....they dont usualy try to back seat drive others too much....becasue I think most of them like having fun.

On Incarnate Trials and some Task forces and some Normal Trials there are a few that do kind of get kind of weird with the archtypes they have...thus they might not want you because they either have alot of damage already and really need a support type character....or a Tank....or perhaps they need to have more higher Level shifted Incarnates....but i think thats the wrost thing i have run into.

Virtue people will take anyone on their teams.

Liberty has never had any stalker hate that I've seen, and I've leveled 4 at this point. Plus Liberty always has WST teams and Trials going.. we may be a smaller server but we are ALWAYS active.

I've yet to get any negativity about my Stalker on Champion or Exalted- sometimes it's hard getting a team for my lowbie villain Stalker on Exalted, but that's not a Stalker-only problem... (my rogue has no issues, as long as she stays in Paragon City)

I've only played on Virtue and Exalted and never seen any sort of stalker hate outside of the good natured ribbing I like to give those on my teams. You silly stalkers all seem to have some sort of persecution complex or something :sheesh:

Is any of those servers heavily populated in Stalkers? I would like to try a team with a lot of Stalkers. If there were an all Stalker team(such as Tanker Tuesday, Mastermind Monday, the Superteams) I'd totally join in for that.

So far I tried Guardian after making the thread. Guardian was pretty dead around that time, it took a long time to form a DFB which only had 4 people, followed by failing really badly at it. The team members kept squabbling about who has the better higher level character even though none of them were talking about that character being maxed level, not really an issue, but it felt like I was stuck in a team of children. That squabbling is just one example of why they felt that way. For example, they insisted we had to have a tank before we start, even though DFB is usually anything goes, and when our tank died, they illogically stated I had to tank because of being melee even though I was a stalker. Then I actually did tank by eating purples and the tank decided I survived better because my level was higher and none of them understood what I meant when I said it was because I ate purples.

Now I have a character on Virtue, it feels a lot like Freedom, but with role players everywhere. I don't mind role players. Things are going pretty well so far.

I guess what I'm really after is a server with some level of Stalker love, if there is such a thing. So it's more than just a mission to avoid a server that avoids Stalkers, since there are some who won't add them for trials, but to find a server that really suits them. Something like how EvilGeko mentioned in that other thread how he states 'Stalkers needed and appreciate' when forming teams.

Liberty sounds awesome with it's always doing things, so I might try that out at some point.

Exalted is my home server, so I won't mind making a Stalker there, I just know my luck on Red side will be very low if I start Red, so I'll just go Blue. It's good to feel at home after all. And that's the thing, sure Virtue is nice, but Exalted is also nice, I'm just not aware of Stalkers being a preferred choice there, but I know we don't mind them being on our teams either.

ok well first off you probably already know but stalkers are a very low played archtype.

secondly....you did death from below....seriously....that does have alot of child mentality players only doing that....any farming or power leveling has child mentality players in it most of the time....only a few of the players who actualy do death from below or power leveling i find dont act very childish.....

This is not to say its everyone.....its just quite a few....as the children always do the easy stuff...then brag....then blame everyone else for their failures or lack of knowledge.

By the way....if you have not noticed....most of the people who reply and post in this stalker forum section...are probably some of the most stable and best players to play with.

I'll second Liberty as an option.

While I also have stalkers on Union and Exalted, Liberty is my home server and the place I keep my favorites. It's rare to see any "LOLStalkers" sentiment among the regulars... and, as BP said, in spite of our small numbers, we're a pretty active community.

I doubt you'll find any servers 'heavily populated' with stalkers. There just aren't that many people who the playstyle appeals to, especially given the speed of most player's experiences. Stalkers are the Melee AT that can't be counted on to keep the attention of more than one mob because of the way aggro works (granted there are exceptions, but that rings true mostly). As for where I play, I've never been on a team that kicked someone just because they are not on a Tank/Brute/Scrapper but neither have I been on a mostly full team and they started requesting specifically for stalkers either.

Also, lolstalkers....at least until i22 drops
