Can a character have both a Patron power pool and an Ancillary Powerset?

I'm guessing that characters can only have one or the other, and not both together. But I'm not altogether clear on the matter. I've been reading about them on Paragon Wiki and I know that villains are now able to get Ancillary Powersets, but I don't know what happens when a villain unlocks a Patron power pool after already taking a power from an Ancillary Powerset. Will the Ancillary Powerset be disabled on the character, or will the character simply not get the Patron power pool they should have unlocked. I'm sure plenty of players must have come across this situation before and know exactly what happens.

Then again, if it is possible to have access to both an Ancillary Powerset and a Patron power pool I'd like to know as I might rethink what powers to give some of my characters as they progress.

When you unlock the patron pool you'll be given a Respec. when you choose a power from the patron pool all the others, including the ancillary pools, will be locked out.

Patron pools and Ancillary pools are mutually exclusive in a single build. However, you can have multiple builds. For instance build 1 can use Ghost Widow's pool and build 2 can use Power Mastery.

Thanks. I was guessing it might be something like that. Good to know for certain
