Granite Armor

I have 1.5 billion in infamy to slot a brute that is stone/elec.

I was wondering what would be the best invention enhancements to slot in my Granite armor.

Most people 6 slot Granite armor with 3 parts of a Resist IO set, and 3 parts of a Defense IO set, to maximize both set bonuses and the actual stats of granite. A common slotting would be:

Aegis: Resist
Aegis: Resist / Endurance
Aegis: Resist / Recharge

Luck of the Gambler: Defense / 7.5% Recharge
Luck of the Gambler: Defense
Luck of the Gambler: Defense / Endurance


Aegis is one of the only sets that gives any decent defense bonuses from only 3 slots (fire/cold defense) and Luck of the Gambler is pretty much the best Defense set, it's rare to use another set besides Luck unless you are LOADED with Defense powers and would violate the "rule of five". Some people wouldn't use a Resist IO set and would recommend some Hamidons that do Resist / Endurance because they do 33% each and that would really take a chunk out of the nasty Endurance Problems that Granites sometimes have, while not sacrificing any Resistances, just the Fire/Cold Defense bonus.

I typically slot Granite Armor with:

Cytoskeleton Exposure (End/Def/To-Hit)
Ribosome Exposure (End/Resist)
Aegis (Resist)
Aegis (End/Resist)
Luck of the Gambler (Def/+7.5 Rech)
Gift of the Ancients (Def/+7.5 Run)

The power hits the Enhancement Diversification threshold for End/Def/Resist and I get the set bonuses I want (Runspeed/Recharge).

I have three slots for stone skin

six slots for stones embrace

four slots for rooted

four slots for mud roots

I also use fighting

four slots for tough

four slots for weave

Any recommendations on invention enhancemnts.

I'm not good with the math side of the game so I find I can't grasp what I'm doing when I slot enhancements.

Your preference may vary, but I have Granite slotted with 3 Aegis, an LotG +Recharge, a Gift of the Ancients Def/Run Speed, and a common Resistance IO. I have Rooted slotted with 3 Numinas/3 Regenerative Tissue, including the procs from both sets. I don't rely on Earth's Embrace much, so it has 3 Doctored Wounds (Rech, Heal/Rech, and Heal/End/Rech), plus a Numina's Heal/Rech. But, a bit of a disclaimer, I highly doubt anyone would actually suggest using my build. In fact, people might actually recommend NOT using it.
