Do EB count for AV badges/accolades?

If I kill the EB version for the Portal Jockey accolade (for example), will I get credit? Or do I need to kill the AV version?

Also, whatever the answer is, is the same for every badge/accolade?

EBs definitely count for Dimensional Warder. Also worth noting is that the trial AVs count.

I want to say that EBs count for every badge/accolade, because I can't think of any counterexamples... in fact, I can't think of any badges at all other than Dimensional Warder which require fighting enemies which can spawn as both an EB and an AV.

Almost any

Babbage as a GM grants the badge
Babbage as an EB or even an AV will not (spawns as such inside mish)
but all EBs count if the AV does - if it needs a GM then it won't.

GMs and AVs are two different things. A zone GM isn't the same critter as a mission version of that monster downgraded to an EB.

Um you dont mean babbage...babbage badge you get from both the spawn from the sysnapse task force as well as defeating it in Boomtown.

I assume you are refering to Jurrasik.
And also The Winter Lord and Baphomet sort of obey these rules....for their badges as well.....as they have a few missions they appear in that they wont give a bagde...and no it has nothing to do if they are a giant monster or not....as Baphomet always is a Giant Monster.....but one mission you can battle him all you want and not get a badge from him.

The Kronos Titan does not obey those rules....so you can battle it in the mission and still get the badge.
As i have done this with others many times.

Problem with this...some monsters are set up for just one group:

Babbage: Ambushes team doing Synapse TF
Krakken: In Sewer Trial, must be defeated four times at bottom even if you can avoid the Krakken in the scaffolding
Adamastor: In instanced mission at end of Numina TF
Kronos: Surprise ambush after exiting mission, and then in surprise timed mission.
Quarry: Two of these must be defeated in an instanced mission in the Eden trial.

I may be an exception, but I don't find giant monsters in need of a buff. My only complaint is with how often they spawn.
Zone Giant Monsters are getting the buff. GM's that are mission-specified (like the ambush ones, or the Eden trial, etc) are not being touched. Those GMs are "arch-villain" level, i.e. made to be beaten by 1 team.

Zone Giant Monsters are the GM's that appear randomly (or triggered) in zones. This does not include the ambushes that are triggered from missions.

This change will be both CoH and CoV.
Those are the definitive conditions.
