Keyboard characters dead

So, clicking the W key does not move the character?
Try this: /unbind w
That command clears any binds and resets the key to the default CoH setting. If that gets it working again, that would mean that the game somehow forgot all the binds - even the 'built in' ones.

LOL no much worse than that. Every key stopped working and if I went to the keyboard bind screen it didn't recognize any of the keys there either.
Very odd lasted for 1 day then went away on it's own. Support thinks it was a background process possibly some automatic download (although that SHOULD only be Windows) Could also be virus scanner run amok. Webroot can be very annoying when I wants you to respond to something (and then ignores your response lol).

Is it possible the keyboard itself is broken/on its last legs?
My last keyboard had issues with the 2 key after a few years of use so it's at least plausible that something borked itself on the insides.

Found the problem in general.
Problem is related to Webroot Security. I do know know which specific option occasionally causes this problem but if you disable this virus scanner character mapping works again.

Suddenly while playing all my keyboard keys a-z and 0-9 stopped working as keybinds. No WASD nothing. Arrow keys and special characters still work but even after rebooting or changing characters no joy none of my characters are now playable.
I went into the keybind screen and clicked in an empty bind and when I type a letter, nothing happens. But I can type messages and stuff in globals so keyboard is working and it is working with CoH. (I typed this with same keyboard).
I even tried 2 other keyboards but with no success. Something is buggered up and I don't think it is my keyboard at least.
