SG invites with out anybody logged on

Hmmm.
The SGs are about groups. Making friends, meeting others, and talking to people.

Then all the facilities SGs provide to aid making friends and meeting other people were added to other game functions. Global channels for example being generally more useful.
Then all the facilities SGs provide to support people in your SG (like storage devices and rez devices) where made redundant by 1) the stinginess of them and 2) the copious and often better alternatives.
So currently the only "real" and unique benefit a SG provides is building the Base. Something that only one or two people in the SG get to experience anyway. This is why Dev reluctance to allow offline SG invites strikes me as foolhardy. Charge 120 points for the privilege and have done with it.
This is a song about a super hero named Tony. Its called Tony's theme.

I'm not going to quote FP's wall of test, but most of it's laughable.
What's stored in base is IOs, the rest is fluff.
Note that FP quotes the amount of personal storage if you've purchased the max amount of adds, these people have spent nothing on storage, one is currently unemployed and would be subscribed if he wasn't, he's not spending much money on it (although he does contribute to CoH by occasionally buying the odd new powerset). So they can hold 10 IOs per character, and 16 ? stacks in the AH, but most stacks are of size <3 as you don't tend to accumulate 10 level 37 oblit quads etc.
Also it's not a whole lot of fun to actually play a character where your enhancement trays, recipe and AH slots are always completely full, and unsurprisingly as they only get access to say 7 of their 50 characters (they're vet enough to have IOs), these are the ones they play.
And yes you can invite a VIP player to your SG. I did this for mine till I made my second account, but you tend to find they're never actually around when you need them.
It's true. This game is NOT rocket surgery. - BillZBubba
