Alpha Cardiac vs. Agility

Hello guys.. quick question.. I just did a respec on my brute. I'm now running toggles out the wazoo. endurance seems to be an issue. will the Alpha agility help with end mod?, or am i better off with Cardiac end reduction? (never really can grasp end mod by the way) side note: alpha cardiac offers resistant effects, however on mids, when u hit view totals nothing under resistance seems to change.. ty for any input

Some Incarnate values are not showing in Mid's new version, known bug.

Cardiac will help much more with end woes, but another good option if you don't need the resists is going Ageless destiny - my SS/Fire farmer broot went spiritual, he's terribly slotted for end reduction and he doesn't even need consume or blues after I got Ageless.

Endmod is what you slot in powers like Stamina and Power Sink. It improves how much endurance you gain from such powers and/or how much they drain from enemies.

Endredux is what you slot in most powers, and makes them cost less.

For most characters, an endmod alpha will not dramatically help their endurance troubles, but it depends on your power sets. So, what are your power sets?

The cardiac resist thing was a bug in the first version of Mids that had TW, but Diellan fixed it soon thereafter, so go get the update.

Oh didn't know it was updated already, thanks.

Anyway what Hopeling said. For example, most attacks and toggles (except for some heavy ones like damage auras) on my toons have 40-60% endredux so Cardiac helps a ton in all of them. Stamina/Quick Recovery is usually at 80-99% so Agility won't help as much, even though a part of it ignores ED cap. I got Agility T4 on my Stalker and didn't notice a lot of difference (he's EM/Nin so no endmod powers except for the usual recovery ones) but I like the recharge and defense boost in her case since she doesn't have end issues anyway and has no significant resists to justify cardiac.

If your brute is elec melee or elec armor for example, you'll get more sapping power from your attacks, damage aura, power sink etc. But you're probably not elec armor if you're having end issues.

yep im elec/elec...running.. manuevers, stealth, combat jump, weave tough, assault(for damage boost) plus all the regular shields exept quick reflex.. Just hit the cardiac left tree.. now i have no end problems thanks... just wish i had my 45% damage from musculature.. oh well id rather not die and kill over time than kill quick and risk death if u follow me.

Lightning Reflexes would help your offense (and end management because of power sink and energize recharging faster) much more than Assault and LR costs no end. Damage bonuses like Assault and even Musculature aren't that hot on a Brute because of low base damage and how fury works, I'd ditch assault and only consider Musc on high-base dmg ATs like Blasters, Scrappers, Stalkers and Doms.

The auto-update system isn't up and running yet on our new servers, so you'll have to download this manually:

Mids’ Hero/Villain Designer 1.953 - December 2011

New features:
  • Titan Weapons!
  • New Incarnate powers!

Fixes & changes:
  • A ton of bugfixes that you guys reported!

Known issues:
  • Windows Vista and Windows 7 have issues with the updater due to UAC interfering with writing to the Program Files folder. Many of these problems can be resolved by (a) installing as Administrator, (b) running Mids as Administrator, or (c) installing Mids to a location other than the Program Files folder.
  • Diminishing Returns for PvP mode have not yet been added; all buffs currently show their full, unmodified values.
  • The Power Graphs for the current build do not display effects for pseudo-pet powers like Ice Storm. This does not affect the Powerset Comparison, which is now fully aware of pseudo-pets.
  • Power Boost affects some powers that should ignore its buffs, such as Ice Shields.
  • Temporary and Accolade powers are not being affected by buffs such as recharge rate.
  • In some cases, the Reactive Interface DoT damage doesn't correctly factor in the CancelOnMiss for the damage, resulting in slightly higher damage being reported.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
