Yeah, a few friends and myself were shocked at that stealth change too.
And, no, I haven't seen a patch note saying it was changed either.

It may be a /bug and not a stealth change. So, /bug it.

had same issue. tried twice with no success. I had one toon that had the lost cure power, and it was wiped from the toon. had to bug and the GM thankfully completed the cure lost mission.

Was this changed recently?
It used to be that anyone on the team would receive the badge if the mission owner spoke to the Latin Student.
That was not the case just now...
I don't recall seeing any announcement of this being changed either...
