How long could you play just Death from Below?

Some characters I might be able to do it all the way to 50, like a defender or something, but I keep looking at these wonderful new powers I'm getting and I want to use them.

you could have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down

Just the first 4 times, like most people. I can't imagine doing it much longer than that; I want to actually USE my powers at some point.
