Fury +Damage questions

The min/maxer (and amateur mathematician) in me has to know. For comparing to Scrapper damage levels I have it that at 50% Fury Brutes equal the Scrapper damage levels. But obviously I am looking for some confirmation of that.

That is based on Brute's damage scalar of .75, and Scrappers damage scalar of 1.125. Also, as long as we are clearing this up, Brute's Fury attaches to Ranged attacks and Epic/Ancillary pools as well, correct?

Trying to remember any other really basic questions, so we can get them answered all in one thread. None are coming to mind. Here is a very complicated one. At what level on the Fury bar does the Brute roughly come equivalent to the Scrapper with Crits included. I know the formula would be complex, with 5% and 10% double damage chances compared to the +% straight damage over a number of hits. I'm guessing that it is actually something like 55% or 60% Fury however.

Just to answer the basic, yes it attaches to all attacks and even secondaries' offensive powers like damage auras and pseudopets (shield charge) although the pets have a lower damage cap and that's one of the reasons everyone loves shields on scrappers (plus AAO since scrappers get more from +damage).

It's been calculated a LOT over the past years. I'm summarizing the math.

At a 10% critical rate, a Scrapper will do scale 1.125 * 1.1, or scale 1.2375 damage on attacks that have a full damage critical (not all attacks do). So let's add in some damage slotting (100% because I'm lazy) and that means that a scale 1 attack will do a "universal scale" 2.475 damage.

A Brute needs to get enough +damage to make their 0.75 scale damage pretend to be scale 2.475; 2.475 is 3.3x 0.75 - so you trim out your base damage and slotted +damage and you're left with needing 1.3x (or +130%) damage... or 65% Fury.

Depending on damage slotting and other bonuses, the value fluctuates because +damage has a much greater effect on the Scrapper than the Brute.
