Downloading problem

I just got my computer back from repairs (had a new hard drive installed), and my attempts to download CoH have hit a wall. I log into my NCSoft account and choose to download the CoH PC client, but then when i try to install, it tells me a "file not found!"

The download seems to be out of date or something.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

I seem to be having trouble with the NCSoft launcher as well. The installshield wizard gets hung up after I agree to the licensing agreement and does nothing for hours.

The first thing I'd recommend is making sure that your OS is fully updated. Assuming it is Windows, this could take several repeats through the Windows Update process to get all of the updates until none are left.

I would then recommend following the instructions in the support article How to Resolve Issues with the NCSoft Launcher. That article also links to the article Installing .Net framework and MSXML Libraries.

If you continue to have trouble with the installation, I'd recommend filing a support ticket at https://support.cityofheroes.com and letting one of the Support techs assist you with getting it installed.

when downloading COH into launcher, do u it onto the desktop w/the disk, then delete it/download it thru the launcher?

Once the launcher is running click on the City of Heroes button under Uninstalled Games and you should get a large button in the lower left of the launcher that says Install Game.
