BASE Bundles

To begin with, I'm a returned player. And I honestly like the in game item store, with upgrades, visuals, and costume packs.

"Paragon Market"

There is content that I would like added to the Paragon Market.

I like the costume packs, such as the latest one, the
Gunslinger Costume Bundle.

Since the developers of NCSoft can develop these costumes. I am confident that they can develop the content I wish to see developed and released to players.

Content to be released:

BASE BUNDLES

Steampunk Furniture and Styles Textures Bundle

This is but one example.

There could be:

Golden Age Hero/Villain base bundle, Elven/Fairy base bundle, University/School base bundle, Water effects bundle, Details bundle, etc.

Perhaps having enough players making positive comments for this forum might get the attention of the developers.

And remember, find time to spend with friends away from mmopgs.

While I would like to see some new base items, you do realize that only one member of a super group would need to buy the pack, while all other members would be able to enjoy the new base he built for them for free? Players could even temporarily switch super groups to install the pieces they unlocked for their account in a second base.

So there won't be that many sales, which would require a rather high market price in order to balance the development costs - if the pack is developed at all.

The Paragon Market is a nice tool, but I really don't expect the developers to devote too much time to market items for such a limited audience. Base additions would probably work better as VIP perks or just free stuff that's included with another issue.

Perhaps it could be a "Tier Reward" release item. i.e. Base Emblem for Super Group.

All I know, is that the game has been out for a long time. And to be honest; for me, the only two reasons I even play this game is- 1. For role-playing. 2. Base building, (to role-play).

I'd like to see some base bundles.

However I expect they would have to sell the actual item for points rather than the recipe so to speak. Otherwise you only need one person to buy the bundle in the whole game and they could tour super groups doing installations. Making it not worth the development time.

Then if the sell items for points you get the issue of what happens when the items are deleted? Are the points lost or do they return to the buyer? Which means they may have to solve the problem of "personal items" which would be good but more work.

Having said all that, I'd like to see it happen

This is a song about a super hero named Tony. Its called Tony's theme.

That's a very good point ... they could add an element to the store where you (as a base leader) can buy it for ONE base. kinda like the character specific items, just base specific. It would take some coding, but could be done, and there is a market for it. I wouldn't buy any, but I know people that would.

oh oh ... options 2, tie them into a SSA one steampuck themed story, one victorian themed, etc. You get the point. that way they're guarunteed to get the development cost back, IE: They would have to develope the scenery for the SSAs, and then just make them a reward for completeing the SSA.

In the first SSA they made whole new lava effect and the DOT damage associated. In the sewer trial, they added the pillars of fire in the last SSA they made the alter prison along with the Arachnos base, table, chairs. So, them making a SSA themed to each costume pack could open up decor options. I think it would the best fit to make it happen without debating the cost.

One way to deal with the problem (of only base builders buying the packs) would be to have each pack include a functional item that could only be interacted with by purchasers of the pack. Example: Include a Tailor NPC in a pack. The rest of the SG will be able to see the tailor in the base, but won't be able to use it unless they've purchased the item.
