Max, a German Shepherd puppy with superpowers, wanders away from his mother one day, and accidentally finds his way past the guards in Atlas Park into the Hollows.As he sniffs around some trash cans, a Gardvord approaches and offers him a handful of green powder, saying "You pretty dog. You want 'Dyne?"

I still think rewarding the final post is a bad choice, but at least the total number of posts has been toned down.

Unfortunately Talshak did his best to try and ignore him, and suddenly Max started to feel strange as if something he ate didn't agree with him.

At least this'll make it possible to win with 7 people minimum. (Although six of them would basically have to pose just to lose.)
It would be a little more palatable of the limit was 4 instead of three, though, if this isn't asking too much.

I think many people are still put off by the fact that you have to post within a 5 minute window to win, so why bother even trying? There has been at least a minor attempt to adjust, but at this point I feel it's pretty much a lost cause. Even if they changed it to a random person instead of the last person, no one who would join that version is even looking here anymore.

I don't normally participate in any of these games for a variety of reasons:
* I never won back when I did try
* The odds seem lousy
* I don't have that kind of time to spare during the day any more
* I'm not that good at any of these things.
* I only read the dev/community digest posts from the day before.
I realized that most of those quibbles don't apply to this contest, so I decided to give it a shot, but it didn't work out. And it seems like that is happening pretty consistently. So I really wonder why other people aren't participating in this contest? Is it about the contest, or the way the winner is chosen, or something else? Not much point in asking that question in this thread I suppose. I think choosing a winner at random might help. It's worth trying, right?

Welcome to Tell a Story!! Every Friday (except holidays), a member of the community team will post the beginning of a story on the Official City of Heroes® Message Board that you can continue. To participate you will have to continue the story with one single sentence. To do that you will create a Reply post to the previous post and include the story content of that post before adding your sentence.
