Black Friday VIP

I just purchased it and everything worked fine, but I do have one question.

I don't think I'll be able to continue paying monthly, so will I have to cancel my subscription to avoid future charges, or does it automatically lapse and cancel itself?

[Yes, I know not to use any actual VIP-only things, unless I purchase them, etc. etc.]

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Also, I seem to have two City of Heroes accounts on my Master Account. Is there a way to delete one of them?

Cancel the subscription before the end of the first billing cycle or it will auto-renew and charge your card. You don't have to wait until the first month is over, you can cancel now and continue to play out the free month.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

If you are buying the VIP pack there is no sub to cancel, it's only good for 1 month. I bought it for one of my free accounts and it expires Dec 25 with no automatic renewal. If I wanted to continue after that date I would have had to set up a subscription plan.

I sit corrected.

As for this part, no. But look at it this way. If you run out of character slots, you'll have a couple spare on that other account

However, it turned out that Smith was not a time-travelling Terminator

I just wish those things worked on my daughter's accounts. They really miss having access to all the fun stuff the VIPs get.

I've bought the VIP starter pack aswell and I have also a few questions to what can I retain or not, I know that special costumes/AT/powersets will be locked unless purchased

if I make a praetorian character, and eventually reach hero/villain after 20, will I loose access to him *? as his origin was praetorian and not CoH/CoV

if I change the alignment of a character to one of the intermediate alignments, hero to vigilante or villain to rogue, will I loose him *? I know without VIP/G.R. one cannot switch alignments, but is it possible to maintain a char that has switched to one of the G.R. specific alignments?

* - (both questions contemplate a not_renewing_VIP_status decision at the end of the month)

Nope. Once he's out of Praetoria, he's fine.

No problem. He'll be stuck at whatever alignment, but you can still access the character.

Of course, both of these conditions assume that the character is not a restricted AT (like mastermind, controller, kheldian, etc) or using a powerset that you have not purchased (like Street Justice).

Since Street Justice is only available after purchase for any player, regardless of status, they wouldn't have to worry about that last part in regard to Street Justice.
