Bruce Wayne's Medical Record

From various place (io9, metafilter, etc), here's a link to a doctor who has written up what Bruce Wayne's medical record might look like.

This brings up some interesting observations, such as this by a lawyer who notes how difficult it would be for a superhero to hide so many injuries.

Some funny and thought-provoking stuff, like this:

Patient has denied being the victim of domestic abuse by Mr. Grayson following indirect and direct questioning on numerous occasions.

...
New Webcomic -- Genocide Man
Life is funny. Death is funnier. Mass slaughter can be hilarious.

Ironically, Batman would need something akin to a mob doctor, with his own private medical facilities, to help mask his numerous injuries from the public. Still, if Bruce Wayne were to be injured while traveling, for example, a doctor who wasn't under his thumb might find some very interesting things which would be detrimental if released to the public, lest some sort of compensation or persuasion were in order.

Mr. Wayne should come clean and explain that one of his girlfriends is into whips, and their nightly liaisons typically involve their dressing up in animal costumes.

I've never really read the comics, but on Batman: TAS he seemed to receive any medical treatment almost exclusively from Dr. Leslie Thompkins, an old friend of his parents.

As far as a doctor blackmailing Bruce Wayne when they find out that he's Batman? You don't blackmail Batman.

Right on both counts Thanks for reminding me about Dr. Thompkins, and why I need to finally buy TAS off of Amazon with my birthday gift card

Doesn't Alfred have some sort of emergency medical treatment skills from his time in Her Majesty's military?

Well yes, but there's a difference between having EMT / Paramedic skills and having a full-fledged doctor to set bones, write prescriptions, provide long-term treatments, etc.

Family History: Both parents deceased (homicide). Generally assumed to be non-contributory[!]

Of course.
