Camera Z-Axis movement?
During demo playing, yes; you can manually alter the Z axis in the demo record file.
During normal playing, no; the camera utilizes a spherical viewpoint that is centered slightly below the character's shoulders.

The camera is high enough that you can't get a large full-character screenshot; if the rest of the character is the right size, the legs are cut off.

It sounds like they're well aware of the standard camera controls. Like he said, you can't get a good, large-sized capture that includes your full character. It has long been one of my annoyances with the game, minor though it may be.

Also, are you using a widescreen monitor?
Widescreen 16x9, 1366x768 native resolution.
May I suggest poising your character on a wall or rooftop edge so you can rotate the camera down a tad so you can include their feet. Otherwise you will have to resort to screencaps from either the tailor screen or your ID screen (you will need to paste the screenshot into Paint for instance).

Is there some way to move the camera view up and down purely on the Z-Axis, with no other rotation?
