Help a Mac User (no Mids) with Rad/Psy and 34 Hami-O's

I posted this in the "Player Help" section, but this might be a better place to ask the question.

I have a level 50 rad/psy defender with thirty-four level 50 Hami-Os from 6.5 years ago, and dating back from the first Hamidon raids. I also have a Mac now, so I can't run Mids.

I also have young children and am never going to do a 4 hour task force again, so I don't need a GOD character, here, just a fun, workable build. I'm going to solo a lot more often than I team up.

I realize I can only pull a few Hami-Os off the build during a respec, so this is probably an intermediate step to an IO build, or maybe this is the SO/HO build I play when I'm premium and don't have an inventions license.

I have two respecs on this alt, and need to spend one now in order to fix this mess.

Here's what I've got:

5 Enzymes (tohit/defense debuffs, end)
3 Endoplasm (acc/mez)
1 Lysosome (tohit/defense debuffs, acc)
5 Nucleolus (dam/acc)
12 Centrioles (dam/rng)
4 Peroxisome (dam/mez)
3 Microfilament (trav/end)
1 Membrane (tohit/defense buffs, rchg)

Here's what I'm planning (Total Slots, Hami-Os Deployed):

Mental Blast (6: 1 Nucleolus, 2 Centrioles)
Psionic Lance (4+: 2 Nucleolus, reduce interrupt SOs)
Psychic Scream (6: 3 Centrioles)
Telekinetic Blast (6: 1 Nucleolus, 2 Centrioles)
Will Domination (6: 3 Peroxisomes)
Psionic Tornado (6: 1 Nucleolus, 2 Centrioles)

Radiant Aura (3)
Acc Metabolism (6)
Radiation Infection (3: 3 Enzymes)
Enervating Field (1)
EM Pulse (6: 3 Endoplasms)
Lingering Rad (3)
Mutation (1)

Hasten (3)

Hover (2: 2 Microfilaments)
Fly (1: 1 Microfilament)

Stealth
Grant Invisibility
Phase Shift (3)

Conserve Power (3)
Power Buildup (?: Membrane)

(Stamina: 3)

I haven't totaled the slots exactly, but this looks like a fun flying brain-sniper. I'd pull off 3 Centrioles, 1 Peroxisome, 1 Lysosome, and 2 Enzymes to sell or use elsewhere.

Thoughts/guidance? Is my strategy as antique as my enhancements?

I loaded up mids and started to work on a build which I could export in text but I then realized you're still missing 3 powers (most likely as a result of Fitness being inherent). Are you opposed to taking alternatively pools instead of Concealment and a different Epic?

I'm keeping in mind powers that you've chosen and the IOs that you currently have.

Ok so here's a build I put together for you using SOs and some from the list of HOs that you currently have. When you respec you can pull out a max of 10 enhancements (unless you buy the additional enhancement slots).

Unless I made a mistake somewhere you should be left over with:

2 Enzymes 1 Lysosome 3 Microfilaments 1 Membrane - on the market probably the ones that will sell the most would be the Enzymes / Microfilaments and the Membrane.

You indicated that you would mostly solo so this build reflects that. I removed Concealment (wont be necessary with a stealth IO more info to follow) and in its place took Leadership / Combat Jumping / Psychic Mastery. The rest of your powers however are unchanged.

Leadership adds Defense and To Hit which may not be crucial since you're rad. When in teams these will be helpful.

Combat Jumping gives you added Defense as well as resistance to Immobilization.

I chose Psychic Mastery for 3 Powers.

Dominate is a nice fast hold that also deals a good amount of damage.

Mind Over Body was taken for some resistance to Smash / Lethal and Psi.

Mass Hypnosis was taken to give you a solo friendly way to control a large group of critters (lets just say you accidently aggro'd a group that you didnt see while you were stealthing a mission).

The amount of slots I allocated to each power are from a foward thinking perspective - perhaps when you get rich from selling all those HOs (listed above) you'll move onto IOs and eventually IO sets (like for example Maneuvers would be slotted with Luck of the Gambler's and two slots in Health were taken for the Numina and Miracle Unique's respectively).

I purposefully left Combat Jumping and Fly unslotted - you should be able to afford a Stealth IO (Unbounded Leap) and Blessing of the Zephyr (KB Resist IO) respectively as Fly is capped at level 50.

One other thing you can do, though it's a bit pricey, is to purchase the Enhancement Tray upgrades. This'll give you access to 30 enhancement tray slots total. More stuff you can pull off. I was able to strip just about everything valuable off an old L50 build in 2 respecs.

And the Suckerpunch planner is still offline...

One other thing. A what-month vet are you? Your forum date is 2005. If you've been a vet for that entire time, you don't have to worry about IOs not working. You'll already have sufficient rewards standing to stay on IOs.

You can put a virtual machine ( VM ) on your mac. You can use Virtualbox software to help you create the VM. The only thing you need is a windows key. Its similar to installing windows thought some less clicking and a bit faster to do once you you have the VM software running.

You probably will not need the license key if you save the VM after the windows install is complete since it will always be counting down to 30 but you can revert it back. The pain is once you install your software in the beginning you will not be able to install anything else. Because you revert it back to its original state to keep the license from expiring any new stuff will be gone. But if your only using the VM for mids. Just install windows and then install Mids and save the session. you will have to save your mids builds on the mac side but you will be able to drag them into the windows VM environment when needed. Again a pain but doable. Your best bet is to get a windows license key and not go nuts doing all of that.
