So, got my angry, smelly dwarf to 50. Now where do I take him? He's fairly self-contained, so unsure on what Incarnates I should be looking towards. Also, anything that can be done to this build to make it stronger? Below is what I have on Live, minus the Gladiator IO, the Kismet IO, and the LotG in Weave.

Planning on next respec to pull a slot from AD and drop it into CJ to slot Winter's Gift Slow Resist... but that's the only change I'm pending. Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions? And it's in PvP settings for some reason... I haven't PvP'd since Issue 13... and the dreck of PvP 2.0

I'm looking for tweaks/guidance/paths to take him to make him even stronger for PvE.

I put it in my builder and it came up with pvp settings? You pvp with it?
I'm not sure of all your intentions so bare with me, one can only guess and my suggestion is not necessarily the correct one because I am not in your shoes, but if I was in your shoes:

I thought it was a good build and would take me more than 5 mins to dig into given what I see as your intentions.

However if I pvped I'd have taunt, but saying that if you don't pvp team or the rest of the team are very much sufficient without quick saves from you then no worries.

I've team pvped before and we had eachothers backs constantly getting thru a match with no one defeated but the opposition would only have one person defeated. Played real tight knit, only one mistake and thats it, someones a gonna.

Between end rec and end drain I like a 2.5 eps window but you can use conserve energy quite often with that, without working things out you might get away with less. You don't have a travel power i the build making long distance saves a bit slow, especially without taunt.

Assault is good for taunt and placate resistance..I think Vengeance, I'd probably switch out for taunt or a travel power to shoot..

What I've done is I think I improved your endurance, put taunt in there for flexibility, improving your recharge. The only thing though is that the dam per end of each AoE has come down by a few points, but aoes aren't always economic in pvp but the rechg of them I think is quicker so overall more dps.

It's a little bit more rounded and no need to desire someone dead:

Thanks for the advice, but definitely NOT a PvP build... I ain't PvP'ing until we get Issue 12 back. Plus, I have an Ice/SS Tank, Ice/Elec Blaster, and Fire/Therm Corruptor for PvP if that ever happens.

Oh okay my bad XD

It was 5:40 am to me when I looked at it so I came back to look at it again to compare the builds properly, took me a moment to realize your against all odds was scaled for 10 and you had vengeance on increasing your DPS beyond mine.

AAO set the same and no Vengeance (which would be off most the time with you?) The DPS of mine is slightly higher, but really that will stand out more when you use aoes because the little extra dps of hitting one target is times by the maximum number of targets.

I realise also that despite that some of the new slotting wasn't thorough enough and I didn't frankenstein slot 2 aoes the same way so I have revised the suggestion to suit that.

In PvE you can get a temp travel power so np there aye.

Comparing, the two builds seem remarkably similar, so I'm thinking I'm pretty close to tuned as it is (once I get the Glad, Winter's, Kismet, and final LotG).

So now the question is where do I go for Incarnation? Musculature, one of the Beta slots not out yet? Seems Ion Judgement is the one everyone takes, and the -res/DoT for Interface. Which Destiny would be best on a Shielder, and then Lore pets... cosmetic, or are the Munchkin options I should persue?

Yeah ya pretty close to it as is, the first build I did took 4 mins at 5:40 am this morning, the second build is what it should of been with a slot moved and a couple of enhancements corrected so that two aoes are frankensteined alike.

I've been told Nem pets do most damage and would prolly go Musculature with that.

As an option for the Alpha you could look at Nerve Core Paragon.
Your attacks accuracy are a bit low for high level or iTrial content (or running at +3 even which you may not do.
In addition you will get approx +3.7% Defence.

My current SD/BA tank (build is being looked at again to see if I can improve it) has around 53% Def to all 3 positions which helps with iTrials and also running +3/+4 ITF's (or even +0/+1 ITFs if your the main agro holder - CDF can hit VERY fast).

Well, for my shield/axe, my thinking was to go for the regen from Destiny.
For the Lore pets, since I'm doing lethal damage, I'd want something different for when I go up against something with high lethal resist - the Seer pets maybe. My badger took the Seer pets specifically for beating down Marauder without the pacification grenades.

IMO there is a lot of sub-optimal slotting in your build, you shouldn't need either the GA +Def or Maneuvers to easily soft-cap Shields. In particular, I don't think the Red Fortune and Serendipity bonuses are worth wasting 6 additional slots to get. Using those slots to 6-slot Build Up with Gaussian's would give you a lot more bang for your buck.

I'd suggest dropping Maneuvers picking up another attack instead. As it is you're very light on ST attacks, and Gash would be a good choice.

Here's what I would do with your build; I dropped the Leadership Pool for Gash and Grant Cover. The defense totals are about the same, recharge is about the same and S/L resistance is a little higher, but this build will cost 2 billion less since it doesn't have the GA +Def.

The thing with what you've done Finduilas has knocked his DPS down. I don't know how important things are but when I look at someones build I kind of try to guess. He could take the gladiator out of his build or the one I changed for him and still be softcapped.

The difference isn't huge and probably mostly due to the loss of Assault. If it's important to maintain that level of DPS, he could always drop Grant cover for Assault.

I don't see the need for an additional single-target attack, I'm generally chaining AoE's anyhow, but on a hard target I've been doing great tossing Beheader inbetween Swoop and Cleave. And while I play him as a Scranker, he is a Tank, so I swapped out Vengeance for Taunt. I'm gonna miss Vengeance. If I really want it, I'll drop OwtS.

It occured to me that ya might farm a bit, enter the second account, get it near ya main, see it die then venge! Increasing your damage and farm away but in placing in taunt I think rechg was buffed so aoe over time damage over time is increased plus flexibility.

I could be wrong, but when I looked at aoes hitting multiple targets over time I saw what might be a great loss of aoe damage potential over time or a potentially great loss in rewards over time.

Shield charge could hit 10 targets for X damage every 20s giving 10x/20s or it could do it every 30s giving 10x/30s, the latters smaller.
