No support for people who have paid you for years.

I recently petitioned after going from VIP to premium, having about 3 years of paid time on my account, with a second account that has spent at least 50 dollars on paragon points, and was told that since I wasn't a VIP I couldn't get 'immediate' support. I thought, okay maybe it will take a day or two. Now 4 days later it's apparent what they meant was you get NO support.

People who are premium are still paying you money, people who have subscribed for years have earned your support even if they are now premiums. I understand if you want it to require like tier 3 or 4 paragon rewards. That would be fine. But People at reward level 6+ not getting support is RIDICULOUS.

Similarly, not letting these longtime supporters of your product post anywhere but here is also ridiculous.

The thing is, with the current system, it doesn't matter how much money you've already put into the system, all that matters is if your currently paying into the system.

Are you subscribed right now? No. Then you don't get access to immediate support to problems. Its a perk of being VIP that a lot of people take for granted. And, as its only been 4 days, its not 'forever' so saying you'll never get support is just ridiculous. Keep in mind, there are only so many employees that deal with support, and they put VIPs first.

So, if a VIP puts in a ticket, and you put in a ticket (as a premium player) then the VIP will get picked first. If you put in a ticket, then a VIP puts on in, the VIP still gets service first.

What may be happening isn't that you'll never get service, but that VIPs get service first.

To the OP: you're talking to other players here, and frankly I haven't seen any checks from you ever.

Also, you were getting support for the time that you were paying. You stopped paying, they stopped supporting.

I agree 4 days without any response is complete ********. 7+ years, current VIP
May I ask what your issue is or what?

Don't be a mindless farm toon, we may need you on a non-soft SF someday. =)

The problem here, is while your a 7+year vet, and currently VIP, the OP isn't. So if/when you have an issue, it'll be taken care of right away, but for all intents and purposes, premium players are 'second class citizens' according to support. You want prime support service, you need to be VIP. Its pretty much that simple.

*raises hand sheepishly...*

Um, Mr. Fatalis, can I ask what the petition was about? Just curious...

/support is something I've never dealt with, mainly because support takes too long, and I AM a Vip. So I figure if it's important, the sheer weight of "THIS SUCKS" will eventually get it fixed, or I'll just have to live with it, or figure it out myself, as either a work around or an actual solution.
//Like the sound loops of way back when... I fixed it on my end.

August 31, 2012. A Day that will Live in Infamy. Or Information. Possibly Influence. Well, Inf, anyway. Thank you, Paragon Studios, for what you did, and the enjoyment and camaraderie you brought.
This is houtex, aka Mike, signing off the forums. G'night all. - 10/26/2012
Well... perhaps I was premature about that whole 'signing off' thing... - 11-9-2012
