SHARING - PVE - Controller - Plant/Storm - MIDS - Endgame
I could never put gravitational anchor into carrion creepers. The way the pet works only 1 of the 4 powers it uses get any of the IO enhancements. And it really benefits from accuracy and damage. I know it hurts to lose the set bonuses, but I go with dual nucleus, dual recharge IOs (common) and then two procs (slow and posi).
That way the bonuses at least impact every single power it has. though posi only checks of 2 of 4 attacks, but it at least checks on the most common ones.

Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.
Cool. Its all good. You could put a damage purple set (Ragnarok) in it too if you want. I never particularly noticed anything wonky. But I appreciate the info.

Certainly a solid, fun build. Plant/Storm is just awesome and I really have to make one someday. I'm leveling a plant/poison right now.
You might consider replacing the Performance shifter End/acc with the PerfShifter proc. Getting 10 points of endurance every 10 seconds or so (ballpark - I don't know the exact number) will greatly help with recovery and still get you the set bonus.
I agree Gavin about the gravitational anchor. CC in particular really makes good use of procs as they can tick off several times within it's duration. I'm aiming for 3 procs and 3 dam/rech (with global accuracy covered).
I've always liked the concept of having good ranged defense and hurricane slotted up as well.

This is different from most pseudo pets like lightning strike for Electric Melee, where the power that summons the pet and the power the pet attacks with are the same.

With regard to Creepers;
So, I have 5x Posi + 1x Trap of the Hunter Proc slotted.
To clarify my understanding:
- The set bonuses function regardless.
- The recharge applies to the cooldown of the power and the end redux applies to the cost.
- The damage/accuracy apply only to the attacks that can take Targeted AOE (the cone and the AOE?)
- No +dam/+acc is applied to the ST range or the melee?
- Similarly, the procs check only on the attacks in which they could be slotted. So, the Trap proc checks only during the ST range, the Posi proc checks twice?
If the above is correct, Hami O's would circumvent this because Accuracy can be slotted in each of the Creeper's attacks?
If you were opting for set bonuses, Gravitational Anchor would provide better bonuses, but almost the entirety of the bonuses would only apply to 1 out of 4 of the attacks? If you went for Grav Anchor, you'd then be better taking the Posi proc over Trap, because it applies on two attacks?
Hmm! What an odd power!
All,
Here is a Plant/Storm build that I think is useful. It has T1 Cardiac, reasonable toggles, it is 1 second off perma-hasten. It has some procs (2 in roots, 2 in Carrion Creepers). It has ranged defense capped at 44.9%. It is close to def capped on S/L and Energy. It is a pretty affordable build, in that the 2 purple sets are among the cheaper ones, and everything else is either affordable, OR you can run Hero Tips for merits if you put in a little time.
Hope someone finds it useful!
