Returning player needs help

Hi. I played COX for a couple years and am back after a couple year hiatus. I recognize a lot has changed and the boards have been very helpful but I'm looking for some information that I haven't been able to find.

When I logged in last night and pulled up some old characters I claimed a boatload of free stuff thru email. I have an ungodly amount of free tailor tokens but I can't for the life of me figure out how to gain access to them. When I went to the tailor it didn't look like it was going to automagically give me changes for free. What am I doing wrong?

I understand that fitness is now inherent and I should respec my characters with those powers. I also know that fitness is still slot-able, but... it doesn't look like I have slots for those powers? Has something changed?

I was given a lot of... stuff... that makes no sense to me. Were they components to something I'm supposed to build (12 issues of comic covers for instance)?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I have a good idea of the basic mechanics of the game and fundamentally what has changed but... these little details are challenging. Any other advice/info you want to give me will earn my undying love and respect.

When you actually make changes to your costume at the tailor it should give you a button that says "Use Free Tailor Token" down by the next button.

Inherent Fitness should show up in your pool powers list just like it used to.

You can mail me your undying love and respect later.

The comic covers are base items. You can make posters that you place on the walls of your base. I think you have to choose "place personal item" in the pop up in the entry room of your base, but it's been a while and I'm not sure.

The free tailor tokens show up just to the right of your Inf cost when you change your costume. Click on the button that says "Use Free Tailor Token".

Stamina is free, and you have to slot it as usual. Add slots as you level up, or during the normal respec process. Four slots in Stamina by level 50 is the new gold standard for slotting Stamina. Three as usual and one for the Performance Shifter proc.

Not that at level 45-50, some people just slot two level 50 IOs and the proc (usually one of those two 50s is the pure End Mod Perf. Shifter IO, although if you keep it at four you get the same values and snag some extra set bonuses if you slot all performance shifters in it.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.

If you are re-specing, you won't see it until level 2. Inherent Fitness is not available at first level. During the respec process, it will pop up on the right under your power pools after you handle your first level and hit "next".

And welcome back!

CoH has been unique in the sea of cloned MMOs.There are years of possibilities still
in such a well designed, well supported and well loved game.Shutting it down now doesn't
make sense on any level except, perhaps, on some spreadsheets bottom line. I do not
consider this an act of a company that has the interests of its customers at heart. This
calls into question why I would want to be part of any further ventures involving NCSoft.
