Bombs on MSR

I have done a couple of dozen raids, but simply as a follow the leader toon. I follow everyone and kill. I haven't figured out the bomb part, yet. I often hear, "all teams set a bomb". How do we do it? Where are the bombs? Where do I get one? How and where do I set one? (I know we blast each grate, or something).

In addition, I have heard about setting a new bomb mid-way. Is this to extend the raid with shields down?

The bombs are planted in the in vents along the sides of the "trenches" in which you fight on the mothership. You have to break open the grates, go inside and click the glowie to plant the bomb.

It is possible with a well coordinated team to re-set the bombs near the end of the raid in order to extend the time, but it's tricky to pull off successfully.

You destroy the grates along the sides of the ship surface, and click the glowie bomb inside. This will extend the raid by (IIRC) 3 minutes. On a well lead raid, it is possible to set all of the bombs on the ship.

only one person on each team needs to set the bomb. Everyone on the team gets credit and can't set another one until the cool down period expires.

Usually I just concentrate on killing. Tanks and brutes usually do the bomb setting just blast the stuff around the grates and then run away so the bomb doesn't kill you.
