Fire/fire info
My best advice is to use Mids to flesh out your toon. IO's and consume can help out any end heavy /fa. My SS/FA has tough/weave and unless he is in a really long fight I usually do not have to worry about using consume.
But use Mids it helps alot, don't be afraid to frankenslot for recovery bonuses, I usually base my builds on regen/recov/def.
See what you can do then post a build and then we can go from there. Alot of other folks on here if they see what direction you want to take your toon will be able to give better advice/help.
Here is what I came up with for my build. I want to be able to keep going without endurance crashing my toggles.
I do worry that I have too many toggles to be effective and that perhaps I need to slot some more damage earlier in my build.
Right now White Novaman is only level 5 and after playing an earth/storm controller (Stormcloud) up to lvl 46 so far and an Ice/Ice tank (DA Icecloud) up to lvl 32 this brute seems to be hitting hard already in comparision.

Maybe a little more balanced? Remember, try to cap out the prime abilities for each power, and then fill in the rest with what's needed. General rules of thumb - 1 Acc, 3 Dam in attacks, 3 Resist/Defense in toggles. Liberally sprinkle EndRed, and then slot Recharge. 3 Rech in any long timered clicks.

It looks good and definately gives me about as much defense and as long as I don't need all the extra END reductions that I originally had I like the more standard damage slotting.
My only question is why Incinerate instead of Breath of Fire. I liked Breath of Fire because it gives a small cone similar to my Ice Breath power on my Ice/Ice tank. I assume Incinerate will help build fury since it is single target though.
And why only 1 slot in Health? Did you just miss three slotting it?

Breath is bad, only 30 degree arc cone compared to Frost's 90 so you won't be hitting as many enemies. Plus with Burn, FSC, Fireball and Blazing aura you won't miss he AoE.
Also, Melt Armor sucks, it does too little for too much end (people usually describe it as a 'cool emote that costs lots of endurance' since it has little practical effect compared with the /thermal version) - you could get fire blast instead and have another solid st attack, on my fm/sd scrap (which is not IOed, lost interest on her) I used it a lot, I never took Scorch too (she always had an attack ready even on SOs and before epics, she has FS, Cremate, Incinerate and GFS and later Fire Blast). I like Fire Blast a lot even on my SS/Fire/Fire (who is IOed and incarnated) primary build - he has a farming secondary build which is /Mu and is mostly AoE focused but I make good use of Fire Blast even on iTrials since it's a good damaging, fast recharging and ranged attack.
Here is my revised build where I took out melt and grabbed fire blast instead.
I also three slotted health since I think you just missed that.

Health is one of the last things I slot up, especially on as slot-hungry of a build as Fire^3 Brutes are. Most of your healing is NOT going to be coming from the passive of Health, but instead from Healing Flames. I would ensure that all attacks you are using are 1Acc/1EndRed/3Dam afore slotting Health, and that all armors are soft-capped out (3 SO's worth).
If you feel it's worth it, go for it, but I'd see more mitigation in tossing those two slots elsewhere, e.g. Scorch for a Dam, and GFS for an EndRed or Consume for an EndMod.

I also see no reason to slot health since your main source of healing is healing flames, you have no +regen power.
I only 2-slot health on non-regen dependent toons if I'm going to put the two unique IOs (Miracle and Numina) for more end recovery, my ss/fire has a miracle and that's it.
I have played my fire/fire brute to lvl 34 and am having alot of fun with him.
However, I must admit that I strayed from this build some and have very much underslotted endurance.
I am considering a respec now to get back to this but wonder if two endurance reductions would be better in the attacks.
I also feel kinda squishy but then again I am running +3 +4 missions. I die once or twice but in the right team I can more than hold my own.
Can I move up tough and could I skip a travel power and acrobatics.
Long term I would like to get to 50 and start my invention build with a focus on recharge and endurance recovery.

If you're not aware, note that the PvP IOs (Panacea and the 'Gladiator' series) are horrendously expensive - expected to pay billions and billions of influence for those sets.
As for other notes, when making an IO build, you want to put down goals to work towards.
For example, if you want defence, go all-out and get at least 32.5% to the types or positions desired. You're a bit wishy-washy, picking up a single set of Kinetic Combat, which is both very expensive, and clashes with the Obliteration sets you have elsewhere.
The most popular defence option is to aim for Smashing and Lethal defence with Kinetic Combat, Reactive Armour, Rectified Reticle and similar sets, so look around for other /Fire builds for suggestions if that's your goal.
You could also aim for maximising damage output, looking mostly for recharge bonuses - get five 5% bonuses between Crushing Impact (Five pieces!), Obliteration (Five pieces!), Doctored Wounds (Five pieces!) and Positron's Blast (Also five pieces!), fit in as many 7.5% bonuses as you can find - mostly Luck of the Gambler IOs and four-slot Basilisk's Gaze in Char, five-slot Panacea if you can afford it - and as many five-slotted purple sets as you can afford and find space for.
Further, bonuses like +maximum endurance, +recovery and +maximum hit points are always useful, but you usually end up with a pile without even trying - I'd recommend going for one of the above approaches, rather than looking to maximise these, and aiming for these with any spare slots left over once you're 'done'.
And finally, most endurance-heavy builds want to put an additional slot in Health, putting the Miracle +Recovery IO and the Numina's Convalescence +Recovery/Regen there - for only one added slot, you improve your endurance recovery by a very noticeable amount, losing only a smidgeon of regeneration. (And, being /Fire, regeneration isn't especially important next to the awesome Healing Flames - so no big loss.)

Using what you taught me I realized I wanted to get to the 32.5% defense
I would assumethat is because the soft cap is 45 and that a small purple at 12.5% will now get me to the soft cap for defense, correct?
So here is my new build.
The only thing I think I am missing is some knockback protection which is a problem. I also have toggles that I may not really need just to get some recharge.
I think the slotting is almost right now but even as I write this I wonder how much recharge I really care to have versus having toggles I my not be able to run due to endurance issues.
I also need help understanding how long it will take to get all these IOs. I only have about $60 million among all my alts now and don't see how I will ever be able to run enough morality missions to get all of these.
I do play the market but have never had a big recipe drop to me to drive a lot of influence.

This build has horrible end use, healing flames not maxed for recharge, low global recharge, a lackluster and expensive PvP set on FSC... What bonuses are you chasing? Why kinetic combats on scorch if you have low defenses to everything?
Also, what's up with the 6-slotting of crushing impacts and positron blasts? Just for low psi and toxic resists? You could use these slots on 3 kb ios and spare acrobatics, and take something like temp protection to put the steadfast +3 def.
Fire Blast's slotting is bad, as is Blazing Aura (almost no endred). Oblits would be better in FSC since the multi billion pvp set you put there is meh except for the proc.
I honestly don't know what build that was but it wasn't the one I wanted to post.
Here is something closer but not quite what I need. I have melee, smashing, range, and lethal all around 29-30 defense but AOE is still at 23.7 and some powers are not slotted up enough like fireball.
Recharge is also at a lousy 157 seconds for hasten.

Tried to come up with a build to reach 32.5% s/l/e/n instead of positional with the powers you picked so you'll be softcapped with 1 lil purple. Not too happy with the recharge (damn fire armor makes me wanna put 3 -kb ios all the time making me use precious slots) but well that's what I managed:

I just looked it over and I think I love it.
Hasten only is at 187 seconds but with a 15-17 second heal and very good endurance management I think it will work very well.
Now I just need to start getting the IOs and respec (again).

I put 3 kb IOs because on melee toons, you either have 1 (4 points) and get knocked once in a while or have 3 and almost never get KB'ed. 8 doesn't make noticeable difference from 4.
This build could go well with Spiritual me thinks, my SS/Fire was good enough for me even when I was lightly IO'ed with 30% global rech and got the T3 - he's an agricultural tool so I went full recharge on him.
Or maybe Agility, but I'm not sure on the numbers for this Alpha (it's defense, endmod and some recharge I think).
Actually I don't think it is possible outside of scripted events to get kb when you are mag 12. I've never seen it happen on my fire/fire scrapper anyway.
