Hash FAILURE!
Sounds like a download error. Before the patch is applied it's first checked to see if was corrupted. This is done by performing a check using one of the standard hash algorithms (MD5 or SHA-1 I'm guessing) and compare the result to a known result. In your case the comparison failed.
Let's hear it for error messages that are informative to developers as well as users.

OK, so I tried the 'continue' option this time. It gave me the option to try and repair things, so I followed along. The "Validating Files" part went OK but then in the "Checking downloaded file" portion of the repair process I got this error:
/Applications/City of Heroes.app/PS.CityOfHeroes_Main2110.201110070353.1.0_Repair/PatchManifest.xml could not be loaded!
Is this the patcher giving me fits? Do I need to re-install?

I was having this problem also.
Disabling all my Norton anti-virus (auto-protect & vulnerability) resolved the problem and allowed the patch to complete.

That's the message I got today when I tried to download the new patch.
Plus: "Downloaded patch does not match expected patch hash!"
I quit rather than continue (my two options at the time).
Could someone explain what this means, and how to fix it?
