Getting Patron Powers as a Hero

I'm currently working with a thermal/demon MM who is aligned as Hero. I've looked into the Ancilarry Powers available for MM as well as the Patron Powers, and the one I like most is Soul Mastery, which is a Patron Power. However, I am currently aligned as a hero. Is there any way I could get a Patron power while retaining my hero status?

No. You will need to switch to villain at the min lvl or above (now 35) and do 1 of the patron arcs. Then you will have access to all PPP/APPs and you can switch back to hero if you want.

Yeah, that's what I figured. And it's good to know that there's a way to change back to hero after I switch to villain.

And do you mean that Patron Powers are now available at 35 or the switch mission is available at 35?

APPs and the patron arcs are available from 35 so that means you will get your 1st choice af PPP at 38 (I think you can respec into it at 35 once you unlock them).

THe alignment system opens up at 20, so you can switch sides (without limit on the number of times you switch) from then on.

Orc&Pie No.53230 There is an orc, and somehow, he got a pie. And you are hungry.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.

i have a Defender who recently did this to open up the PPPs and to kick Lord Recluse's *** personally. Now working back to hero status. Hopefully i can restrain the urge to start running some of the villain arcs and get back to finishing the hero arcs.

Regeant Korol is calling you, softly...

Speaking of things that call you softly, my job is now using what they call "Whisper" technology - basically when I'm on the phone with a customer, a soft gentle voice, that is only audible on my end, will occasionally give me instructions as to what to say.

It creeps me the F out.

Oh I have that too but it's broken, it won't turn off even after I hang up.

Sorry to further derail the thread, but is that not very distracting? Thankfully, my work doesn't use anything like that, but I would imagine it would distract me, in addition to creeping me out.

Thank you, Champion.

I just took my BS/Regen Scrapper from Hero to Vigilante to Villain so I could do the Patron Power Arcs and take Ghost Widow's powers with me back to Paragon City.

I got stuck in the Isles though... A whole bunch of missions! How am I to leave?

Also, when trying to go from Vigilante to Villain, make sure you're doing Tips obtained while in the Rogue Isles IN the Rogue Isles. I made the mistake of doing an entire 11-mission stretch to go from Vigilante to Vigilante.

As far as I can tell, Tips dropped in the Rogue Isles (and in co-op zones, which was part of the problem) will drop to your basic alignment. Vigilantes are still technically heroes, Rogues are still technically villains, so they need Tips from each of those sides.

Enjoy!

Thanks for eight fun years, Paragon.

Nah, it's just that i already have too many arcs open blueside, so i'm only taking on arcs i can finish as i head back to clear out some of my hero arcs. Then my little goblin may head redside again to take in some more of the local flavor. i've already handed the engineer of the local plot railroad, Lord Brown, his ***, but there are so many others accessible redside deserving of a good smacking, both 'hero' and 'villain.'
