Stone, did you really put @Abe as his global?

Just wanted to let people know that Stalemate is going to be helping me out with the timing on the Pylon Challenge, to make sure I don't mess anything up. Thanks Stale!

Cliff Notes:

Costume Contest was first:

The winners were @Zues Tank, @Exercitus, @Blaze Rocker, @MissKyo, and @El D took first. We also had two honorary award winners who will hopefully show up just in case one of our winners can't make it. The Panda and Alpha Source.

Afterwards was the special edition of Kheldian Fridays, wherein we ran the second respec mission.

I held the costume contest afterwards, and apparently everyone forgot the theme was Naughty or Nice. Luckily, a new player to Kheldian Fridays, @doom.rider (who I hope sticks around) cheated and changed his costume. His new costume was now the sole naughty one though, so he won.

Lastly, @AIB ran his special event, in which I was able to take part. We had a surprising number of survivors, given the curve ball at the end where the enemies did nothing but psi damage. Congratz to the team!

OH MAN! I missed Kheld Friday again! I spent the last 15 hours straight creating and editing maps for my local congregation. I went blind a few times but I made it through hehe. Grats to the Contest winners! I don't know what its gonna take for me to finally make it one of these fridays but it will happen! See ya guys in game.

Awesome job on the all Kheldian Lambda guys. Sorry if I was a bit grumpy during the trial- Last time we tried on Protector Day, we only had 8 brave aliens who were up to the task, and I think I was suffering from repressed feelings of DOOM! but this time it went off without a hitch, we fed Marauder his teeth at a brisk pace.

Thanks to everyone for coming, I'm sure Stone will be along to post pictures and all that other paraphernalia soon.

We started off with a Posi TF, had two teams. Team 2 had better things to do, so only team one participated in the CC. @Zaloopa won with her Dark Dust Bunny costume.

Afterwards, was @Stalemates Ouroboros event and @MissKyo's Hamidon Raid! And then, The MoKeyes! We picked up a few people that were off the list, but we did much better than the last attempt, and we got 2 out of the 4 badges. Go team!

Next up was the all Kheldian Lambda. We had a special visitor from Virtue, Dechs Kaison. But before we kicked the tar out of that trial (and nabbed myself a very rare incarnate salvage) we ran a new Warshade Heaven. I would post the video, but apparently xfire doesn't let you upload videos over ten minutes. Good to know.

Afterwards was the Iron Tailor, with our winners from yesterday competing against @Globetrotter. We had some...interesting people show up, but most of our crowd was very helpful in judging, and I was pleased to drop money and enhancements on lots of people. I hope you guys had fun judging it for us!

And then--the Cathedral of Pain! It went very smooth, with us killing the AV on the second wave. Great job folks!

Later on was the illusion superteam! We ran the STF, and pretty much dominated it. Good times.

Last on the agenda for today...the Medic! event. It was lots of fun, and the competition went on to the last minutes (despite me attempting to grief the others by spawning the nictus ambush in the first mission), but in the end nobody won. Now we get to find someone else to spend our money on. It was a fun try though, guys!

Catch you guys tomorrow!

Can you use your magical Stone powers to edit into 2 different videos? For those who weren't a part of it, myself, Stone, AIB, and Dechs took on a 54x8 patrol-loaded mission complete with a level 54 AV Bobcat. It was pretty epic.

I didn't save the incomplete times, but everything looks right to me. Congrats to the winners! Thanks Stalemate and Stone for the help.

Edit: In case anyone is curious, Donovan was on a Dark/Shield and Ms. Halflight was on a Fire/Shield. I wanna say Warrior was on a Katana/Invuln but don't quote me on that.

Xfire won't let me edit videos, and I don't have any video editing software

In other news, the villain team won the LGTF race after my master plan to infiltrate the heroic ranks succeeded! I actually convinced them that I was reformed, and I wanted to help the good guys win... MUAHAHAHA.

I for one am shocked.

I want to thank Stone and Layla for organizing an insanely fun weekend here on Protector.

it was fun! i liked the blaste/healer itf the best i think this weekend.. oh and all the costumes on the iron tailor
I want to say thanks to all the folks that donated influ and time for us

We started off the day by splitting up--I ran a Synaptic Synpase with three other electric weilding heroes, and Layla ran a couple villain TFs.

After the Synapse was over, I put together an all mastermind ITF. It was, well, over the top. There were robots, zombies, and demons, oh my!

Afterwards, me and Layla joined forces yet again to run the Mortimer Kal together, with a dominator superteam...well, we would have, but we had two teams worth of people that wanted to join us! So, we split teams and ran it. My team finished in just under an hour, but unfortunately team #2 had problems with the AV's and called it quits after several tries. Sorry guys

Next up was Septipherans Pylon Challenge! First place winner went to Donovan Cosantoir (@Dr. Scrap), second place to Ms Halflight (@Black Leather Angel), and third to Warrior Adept (@Taunting Monk). Good job guys!

And lastly, we ran the Good vs. Evil Lady Grey Task Force! In a move that surprised nobody, Septipheran spend most of the TF being largely useless as an evil agent on behalf of Zaloopa. The villain teams technically finished faster than the hero side, but I maintain that the heroes won the contest because we called it in first. Also, heroes always win. Always.

I'm disappointed to add that nobody (save a late minute entry from @nodoze, whom I appreciate the efforts of) bothered to attempt the Scavenger Hunt, so it was canceled. We will instead put our minds toward an event that we consider more people will take part in sometime soon down the road.

I'd like to take this moment to thank @Black Leather Angel and @Stargeek again for their generous donations towards the event, and all of our event runners for helping bring a little something to this event (and giving us time to rest in between TF's and such). I hope you guys had a good weekend, I know I did. Happy holidays from Stone and Layla!

Want to add my thanks to Stone and Layla. That was a truly spectacular event and just incredible fun.

Hey, if by "largely useless" you mean "Sept cleared all the groups surrounding Layla when she died and gave her wakies while Stone was speeding ahead and leaving her behind" or "Sept tried to protect those poor hostages that Stone was trying to kill" then yes, I was worthless. I did beat the crap out of the AV's though, that's just something I can't resist.

Funny, it sounds like Sept was actually the most heroic one on the Hero team.

Just wanna extend my thanks to everyone who came out to make my first Kheldian Friday one of the most fun nights I've had in a long time.
Stone, Layla, AIB, I know I'm forgetting some, thank you guys so much!
Protector already feels like my second home. Keep up events like these and It might have to become permenant hehe.
