What to pair with street justice???

I got my StJ/Regen brute to lvl 22 this morning and got him all common IO'ed up!

The last mission or so (running the arcs in FW atm) I actually increased the difficulty (not by much, just set it to x2 )...but still, usually never do that. And the bigger thing that I've been doing is actually doing a "defeat all that get in my way" when I do missions now...usually just stealth it

To be honest, I think StJ works out better on a Brute then a scrapper in the long run. Street Justices damage up front isn't fantastic, but building combo points synergizes extraordinarily well with Fury. Granted your DPS in shorter encounters won't be great, but against bosses and longer engagements I'd think it would pay off.


More on topic: Willpower and Shield Defense seem to be my favorite secondaries so far. I imagine /Fire and /Regen wouldn't be bad options either.

I thought about this briefly, but /sd is so much better on scrappers that I decided to go that route. For my sj brute I decided on /fa.

Shield Charge does significantly more damage on Scrappers*, and Against All Odds boosts their damage more.


*Something to do with it being a pseudopet; the same goes for Lightning Rod from Electric Melee, which also uses a pseudopet.

I am enjoying WP as a secondary... with the stamina inherent and QR... my end issues are almost null.

I went with Invulnerability. I had a Spine/Invuln Scrapper at 50 years ago, then deleted him in a misguided bid for more character slots (when we were limited to 10) and in response to the big Invulnerability changes of years back.

I figured Invulnerability was the sturdiest, most Tank-able Brute (as far as I've seen, at least) in the long run, it just doesn't have as many fun utilities. Which is fine, really: More time to kick people in the junk.
