Yes, only VIPs can pay supergroup base upkeep. I'm not sure it's actually been officially documented anywhere, but I remember a thread around here somewhere discussing it.

You may also want to check you SG settings and check that May Pay Base Upkeep permission is set for your SG rank.

Besides the whole "businesses exist to make money" thing, why is it that Premiums have been locked out from the advanced base options? Not that paying your rent should be considered advanced, but still. I figured that creating/editing a base was going to be VIP only, but rent?
Well it may simply be that the easiest way to gate creation of an SG was to lock a Preemie out from talking to the SG rep. Side effect is a Preemie can't pay rent.

Also, it is mentioned in the ginormous i21 patch notes that only VIPs will be able to "edit" bases. I'm wondering if the devs have a different definition of "edit" than the players do: Dev "edit" = SG registrar, Player "edit" = futzing around in the base editor. It was brought up in open beta, but the question was never officially clarified.

So for some reason i cant pay my supergroup upkeep(the option wont show up on the registrer) even with the character that actualy leads the SG(red star)
Tought premiums had full access to SG features, can only vips pay the upkeep or something?
